Savas, the owner treated me like family. It is a small hotel in a great location with just about everything you need for homey basics.
The spiral staircase is a small challenge!

I had an amazing stay at Kumluk Konark Hotel in Istanbul. The highlight of my experience was the exceptional service from the owner, Savas. He went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. He was incredibly friendly and helpful, even assisting with our luggage upon arrival. The hotel itself is cozy, clean, and well-maintained, with a charming atmosphere that made it feel like home.
The location is fantastic—just a 10-minute walk to all the major attractions like the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, and Topkapi Palace. It made sightseeing incredibly easy and convenient. The room was comfortable, and I appreciated the personal touch Savas added to our stay. I highly recommend Kumluk Konark Hotel for anyone visiting Istanbul—it’s the perfect blend of excellent service, a prime location, and great value.

After staying at Kumluk Konark Hotel for 3 days, we went on a trip to Cappadocia and returned at 1 AM Midnight . The owner, Savas, went out of his way to upgrade our room for the night, which was such a thoughtful gesture after a long journey. He was incredibly helpful throughout our stay, always ready to assist with anything we needed. The hotel itself is cozy, comfortable, and in a great location, making it easy to explore Istanbul. If I ever return to Istanbul, I’ll definitely stay at Kumluk Konark Hotel again—highly recommend it for its excellent service and warm hospitality!

location was good not too far for main attractions but was difficult if you had a pushchair with you as the streets are not flat. All essential shop was on walking distance and very close to 2 tram station . The reception was very helpful and kept the apartment clean every day.
Our apartment was on ground floor/ basement and had a very small window and was noisy with traffic. expect some variance in the actual room from the photos .
