Fascinating hotel, wonderful period features but with modern spa complex.
Superb position overlooking the gardens and the beach. Staff were perfect.

Delicious breakfast, cooked to perfection. Jonathon was so lovely. Bed was really comfortable. Hotel was very clean for an old building. All staff very friendly and helpful. pool was spot on, didn't use outdoor one but had a look- very nice.
didn't have a view of the sea, but still wasn't the worse view we've ever had and you get what you pay for.

The location is fab and the heritage building is beautiful. Facilities are good for those wanting Spa etc.
The front of house team were not engaging towards customers in fact I’d say they are indifferent at best, based upon our experience. We appreciate costs associated with running such a hotel are high but training the people who represent your business with the customers is critical and we’d urge you to focus some resources in this area. We left feeling that we’d had poor service and therefore poor value for money.
