The location was perfect! The food was incredible in the rocks restaurant, and our room was lovely. The staff couldn’t have been nicer and more kind. Me and my boyfriend throughly enjoyed our stay.

The room was a bit dated, some wallpaper coming off and marks on the carpet and bed. The pool wasn’t heated.

Fantastic service, every single member of staff we encountered was lovely, nothing was too much trouble. Really nice breakfast, beautiful views. Casual, relaxed vibe.

We thought that the single mattresses on our three beds had seen better days.. Always good if the hotel has a supply of emergency items, even it if charges for them..

Stunning views.

The communal areas in the hotel were superb, particularly the terrace which had wonderful views of the beach. The outdoor pool was absolutely fabulous and the layout of the grounds generally was excellent. The staff were, without exception, very friendly and helpful. Service was excellent.

The room. One of the 'sun-pipe' rooms listed as an executive room. There was no window and therefore no fresh ventilation at all. The room was gloomy and a little shabby in decor. I had requested the single beds option but the beds (although made up as separate beds) had not been detached from each other. Reception staff did resolve on checking in. Overall, the room was overpriced.

Lovely hotel

This hotel is in a Beautiful location the views are amazing. The hotel has indoor and outdoor pools, jacuzzi and steam room which was lovely.

The only thing I think let’s this hotel is the prices I think it’s over priced compared to all over hotels in the area it’s a lot more expensive.

Excellent location. Easy access to swim in the sea. Two pools, indoor and outdoor. Very nice lounge area Excellent bteakfast.

Dinner in the Rocks restaurant was much too expensive for the food provided. Wouldn't use the restaurant again but would use the hotel. Our room was a bit on the small side.

Lovely stay in a great location with friendly staff and good service.

A lovely hotel with a great location friendly staff and good service. We did have a problem with the sink in our room but the Hotel dealt with it well relocating us to another room while the issue was fixed.

A very minor gripe was that I think the indoor swimming pool was advertised as heated and it wasnt (or didnt feel like it!)

We did not realise that the room we booked had no windows. The light tunnel did have a blind, as the room was very bright in the morning - however the blind did not work! I would not knowingly have booked a room without natural light, especially for a five day stay.

Nothing given the price. Staff were helpful and the breakfast was decent but in light of the room rates it simply wasn’t good enough.

Value for money. I understand you pay a premium to be in a good location. But it has to be reasonable. We had one of the rooms without balcony (the picture obviously is a room including a balcony, the description will tell you only some of them have one), the rooms are dated, with the usual smell of old carpet you can expect from a room last renovated a significant time ago. Just not good enough for £350 a night.

It was my wife’s 50th so for 1 night it was okay.

Customer service especially in the Rocks restaurant. Beautiful views of the sea. Breakfast and dinner was great. Shower was very powerful and nice modern bathroom.

Sea view room 26. Window looking out to the sea didn’t look like it was cleaned. Receptionist said it could be the mist but I wasn’t convinced. Didn’t like the old dated look of the furniture distressed. I prefer a more modern look. Consider the price was over £340 for just a night.

Amazing location. Lovely room properly geared for three people eg three mugs, three dressing gowns . Nice touches eg fresh milk in room. Great breakfast with views out to Lundy. Great shower.

A wonderful stay, the hotel is in the perfect position.

The view from the dining room was exceptional. We booked dinner at the hotel and we were so impressed that every table had a panoramic sea view. It was quite breathtaking. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the hotel was spotlessly clean.

We chose to stay in the 'sun pipe room', which did not have a window. On reflection we would have chosen a different room, but this was not the fault of the hotel.

Great location — but that’s about it. If you fancy spending a lot of money to feel like you’re staying in a care home prematurely, this is the place for you. The room was average at best — I’ve stayed in better budget hotels. Ours didn’t even have a window, which was very different to how it was advertised. Check-in was frustratingly late at 4pm, and none of the rooms were ready until then. The staff were odd and quite dismissive, creating an awkward atmosphere — apart from the lovely lady on reception on the morning of the 29th. She was the nicest part of the whole experience. The indoor pool is also very run down and absolutely freezing! Wouldn’t recommend.

1500 pound for 2 days with dinner and drink

The moment we step in the property to the moment we leave it’s was like home away from home. People at this facility are so nice. I meet Mr Ludek he was serving my drink in evening very nice person. Breakfast and dinner I meet with entire staff and they all were excellent Mr Tom young man with positive energy. He forgot my English mustard or French mustard to bring on my table. But I still appreciate his energy saying it would have ruin my steak if I would have gave you the mustard. He is awesome. Ms Marylin gave me phone charger to charge my phone. This property not only have good location but crew is making this place on top experience. Can’t wait to be back in Woolacombe. And in addition must stop at the teal farmer market on your way from London to woolacombie.

My room or the second room I had had no window. But I enjoy my shower tub and product from Teal farmer market shower gel etc.

the location was lovely, the beaches are very nice and secluded, not many restaurants nearby but the food in the hotel was very nice.

room had a very bad smell that bothered us quite a bit, we asked the staff but they couldn't find a solution to it during our stay.

Location & Views spectacular but come at a price

Price, They rate themselves as 4 star and charged £350 B&B but realistically there a £200 a night hotel, I didn’t experience 4 star living. For example, no A/C, or room service, reception closes around 5pm. Room key no digital locks so only 1 key. Not the full range of L’occitane products either, for that price a little welcome pack in the room a chocolate or two maybe some flowers on arrival but alas nothing, no elaborate coffee machine either, just a standard kettle with usual sachets. We arrived midday & informed them we’d be early but unable to accommodate us we ate in the lounge & went out for the afternoon leaving our luggage upon return we had to go to the bar to find someone to tell what room we were in, & then retrieve our luggage, now if this was 4star our luggage would have been in our room in advance surely! We stayed 4 nights ate in both restaurants, and again I think the rock restaurant reputation relies on the views rather than its decor.

Amazing location and views let down by a tired, 3* experience hotel.

The location and setting was exceptional. Beautiful gardens. Water pressure in the bathrooms was excellent.

Attention to detail. Chipped china and tea pots, semi-professional staff and average customer support. For the cost of the hotel the service and the experience inside was lacking.
