Fair. I would not say that it was good value for money as we paid over £800 for a three night stay (as we also had a dog

It was tastefully decorated, well equipped and clean.

It was very cold, even when the thermostat was turned up high. We had to buy extra blankets, especially for the bedroom on the top floor.

A lovely stay

It's in a perfect spot in the centre of Stow-on-the-Wold, and we discovered two cute short-cuts through to the Market Square while we were there. The house itself is very pretty, and the beds and sofas very comfortable. We did a lovely walk out into the countryside.

The parking is obviously always going to be tricky, as it is roadside in a tourist hotspot. In the end, we were just lucky as someone was leaving from a space just by the entry gate when we arrived.

Cosy house a stone throw from central square

Very charming house close to the central square in Stow on the Wold. Perfect location! Tastefully decorated.

It’s an old English house…..damp and floors upstairs are waving under your feet! It’s all part of the charm! It was difficult to find for my GPS. Odd Fellows Row is written on a tiny shield on the entry gate. Parking is free but it took us some time to find a place in the vicinity.

Wonderful location - couldn’t fault it. The property was a disappointment.

Excellent location - very easy to access the many pubs, shops and restaurants.

No allocated parking - the streets were so busy with cars, we ended up having to carry our stuff over several trips up and down the street. Far from restful, and not what I expected as parking was a requirement of ours. Not enough storage for two adults, and not enough hangers either. My husband lived out of his suitcase, despite using what little storage there was from both bedrooms. The outdoor patio n furniture is rotten and falling apart - it’s quite dangerous actually. Generally, a bit tired - needs a deep clean and some TLC. The comms from the owner re checking in times, taking care of said patio furniture, etc. could have been more friendly. The language was very cold and unwelcoming. We left early, as comfort was missing. A real shame, as the location is spot on / I would definitely stay in the town again!

Mirror in the bathroom needs removal too high for us to use. Lots of stairs. Changes to booking. Com to reflect no parking rather than private parking within 5 minutes.

The location is excellent, few minute walk in to the village.

Location comfy living room well kitted out kitchen

Parking is terrible, you cannot say the property has parking that is misleading. It is a nightmare to park there and guests need to know that. Dud not like toiletries that other guests had used (kind of second hand) including hand soap and shampoos. Better to have new small items for each guest that was quite horrible, Mirror in bathroom very high up I could not use and I’m 5’5! Mirror in top bedroom was badly positioned on stairs I could not use that either. Outside is very run down need a really good clean and weed.

Superb

Why Not is a very comfortable and well equipped cottage. The kitchen was particularly good. On arrival we couldn't get the shower to work but this was rectified very quickly after Cotswold Cottages sent an after hours plumber out (after checking that was OK with us). Impressive! Bedding was comfortable. The cottage is in a great location. Very easy to walk to the pubs and shops in Stow, which is a lovely village. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

The cottage doesn't actually have any allocated parking, you just have to take your chances with whatevers available in the street, which can be sparse, but in our 3 nights we didn't have to park too far away. Two sets of stairs to get to the upper bedroom is tough with luggage but we are in our 60's and 70s and managed. You need to be reasonably fit.
