Nice design, clean, spacious, central location, good air conditioning, comfortable bed, had kitchen and washing machine, hosts were easy to communicate with

Unable to pay via card, only cash, pillows were uncomfortable, nowhere to hang your laundry

The location was amazing, and I had stayed in the same building a few years previously so I knew how to get in. Apartment was minimal and clean and had everything we needed. A couple of good breakfast restaurants near by and the location was great for getting around the city. Communication with the host was amazing- thank you!

The shower was temperamental and if the tap was on at its highest pressure then the shower head would fly out of the socket and water would go everywhere. The electric cut out three times whilst we were there meaning air con, lights and wifi would stop working for at least an hour at a time.

Location is on a main street and there are supermarkets, currency exchange offices and restaurants and cafes. So it was pretty convenient. Not near a metro station though. The host gave very good instructions on how to collect our keys and we had no problems entering the unit. Did not meet them at all. Apartment was clean and the wifi was good. All the amenities are working. Overall a comfortable stay. Host also provided a list of her recommended restaurants and cafes. There is a McDonalds just next to the building....

Check in - Before my travel I received all the information I needed and when I arrived it felt like I am going home. Location - it’s in the city center. Everything is close by. Downstairs there is a 24 hrs shop. There is exchange office also 3 minutes walk distance. Comfort - the bed was very comfortable and clean. For those you want to cook you have everything available. There is kettle, hair dryer and iron which I always need.

The payment - was not available through card. I had to exchange cash and also meet the owner. At the end we managed but made a little hassle for me. At least would be easier if I know all this the time I book so I plan ahead. Cleanliness - in general and the usual used places like bed, bathroom was clean. However when I wanted to drink some wine on the shelf the wine glasses were dirty and sticky. Definitely no one cleaned them from very long time. Amenities - was shampoo and shower gel available but something very cheap quality in a branded bottle. That was not nice. Better use no branded or named bottles with a shampoo sticker. Instead of showing this is what you have and when you use it realize it’s something super cheap and not nice smelled product. If I know that I would buy something from the supermarket. But I was already under shower… Taxi - well this is not the apartment’s fault. Before my travel I red that Uber is working in Kazakhstan but after I arrived I got to know that not anymore. There is a local app but you need local phone number to use. I had difficulty to ask someone on the street to call taxi for me in the middle of the night (due to my departure time) as a girl alone traveling was not comfy. Again if I know this I would better book a proper hotel for the same price and have help from the reception. This is just my personal experience.
