Lakes and woodlands Overstone Holiday Park

Well situated for our needs.

One bedroom was small. But given nature of the accommodation, not unexpected. So no complaint.

Quiet location, very nice property with good facilities in the home and on the overall site

The bedding and pillows were very warm and noisy, we bought our own at a local store.

Location, access to walks and internal and external space. Shower room too.

Bed, too soft and waterproof cover on duvet and pillows noisy.

The caravan was clean minus some marks/paint marks on the sticky kitchen sides. The beds were comfy.

The shower was hot on the first day then got colder and colder so in the end we had cold showers although the taps were running boiling water the shower wasn't. The toilet didn't flush properly on arrival and the whole stay (the one in the shower room) the kettle had black bits all in I kept rinising out and re boiling in the end we went out and brought one as it wasn't very hot anyway and the black bits. The WiFi wasn't working the whole time was was there, neither did the free view. We had no signal on our phones either in this area. The smaller shower had a split around the pipe not leaking the metal casing was fallen off (before we arrived) the front door also didn't fit the door frame there was all gaps around the door and frame letting a constant cold draft in. No mop either? We brought one. The caravan is advertised a chalet, this is a caravan. No pillows or duvets for the 3 sofa beds? The caravan stay was very expensive for what it is. There was also no kids entertainment or nothing for the kids to do expect the tiniest park. (Obviously not the owners fault) I wouldn't say this is a child friendly park as nothing for the kids to do. We wouldn't come back to this expensive caravan with the kids again.
