Welcome to this charming place called SARDINA DEL NORTE in the city of Galdar (former capital of Gran Canaria), where you can enjoy our ATTIC WITH TERRACE / SOLARIUM WITH SHOWER next to the sea we offer private parking space (extra € 10 / day). The terrace of 70 square meters in the upper part of the ATTIC allows you to have the privacy to enjoy with your family our climate and be able to eat breakfast, eat, dine outdoors if you wish. The terrace has a shower necessary to cool off from so much sun. Very bright and quiet, UNLIMITED WIFI, smart TELEVISION in living room and all the necessary appliances to make your stay as comfortable as possible .... fridge / freezer, microwave, toaster, water heater, electric coffee maker, ceramic hob, oven, extractor purifier , water heater, washing machine, iron and dryer. Ideal for families. The photos match the reality (the fruit exposed on the terrace is decorative and is not included).
Swimming pool for adults and another pool for children. Free hammocks Easy access with baby cart. The common areas are accessible and adapted to the disabled and wheeled cars, all very comfortable. The access to the beach is equally comfortable, with access for baby strollers and handicapped, very easy access.
From the beach you can contemplate the best sunrises and sunsets and even if the day is clear and there are no clouds in the distance you can see the highest mountain in Spain, the Teide. Amazing experience!
RESTAURANTS NEXT TO THE PENTHOUSE
No need to take the car and a 3 minute walk you can find a variety of restaurants around the beach. Different types of food and Canarian food as the well-known and typical of our area "potatoes with mojo".
LEISURE AND SPORTS
Sardine is well known for aquatic activities such as diving and snorkeling. There is a center on the beach where you can rent the equipment. Clean and crystal clear beach where with simple glasses you can see the fish and the bottom of the sea.
Mountaineering or climbing 10 minutes by car to the Tamadaba Massif or 1 hour if you choose the central summit located in the center of the island.
CULTURE
The city of Galdar at 5 km offers you the museum "Cueva Pintada" that tells the history of the Canaries as we are known worldwide, Antonio Padrón Museum, or walk through the historic center, visit church and enjoy the terraces with good coffee /tea.
NATURAL POOLS
Enjoy one day of our natural pools along the coast. Among others, the Hole is the best known.

The north is well known for its fantastic waves.

The Sardina del Norte Beach has a Blue Flag, an award granted by the international agency FFE, which is part of, among others, environmental and tourism agencies of the EU and the UN. Beautiful fishing village to explore its corners. You can also visit the town of Agaete with its beach and restaurants on the coast and even take the boat to visit our neighboring island of Tenerife.

We had a great stay in Enrique’s apartment. He was very welcoming and helpful and kind.
The beach is two minutes’ walk away. Some of the buildings are a bit run down but the beach is clean and attractive and the snorkelling was lovely!
