Disappointing !

keys were in the door

toilet seat loose and toilet itself loose, no room to sit comfortable as toilet roll holder was in way, mirror above toilet so vey hard to shave, main bedroom no room to get around bed so had to clamber over in night to get out and no bedside units. Hot water only available when we had to switch on 40 minutes before use. We also had to strip the beds before leaving and bag it all up. Parking was described as plentiful but not the case when we were there it appeared there were several cars permanently parked there.

Decent enough stay but wouldn’t stay again.

Very convenient location, nice clean property. Lots of good facilities

Exceptionally uncomfortable mattresses so much so we had to buy an air bed. WiFi didn’t reach property so couldn’t use the smart tv through our stay. Enquired about using the electric charge port, happy to pay, was told no which was fine but the owners wife was extremely rude about it.

I felt comfortable there and would stay there again.

The chalet was clean and homely, everything that was needed was there. It was comfortable and felt well looked after.

I would like to have had more privacy re the windows. While being good for letting light in, I felt it was not private enough for me, particularly with young men having to pass my windows.

Perfect, just perfect.

Everything was perfect, the host was very informative and friendly. The bungalow was perfect for what we needed and the decor was lovely. Parking onsite and all on one level, perfect for my daughter who has a mobility problem.

Couldn’t find fault, just a recommendation. When we first arrived, nearly drove by the accommodation. Maybe a more prominent sign to avoid driving by and missing.

Lovely country break.

Communications and instructions were clear, the bungalow was perfect for a short family break, clean and well equipped. Country retreat, near a small farm where you could see a variety of animals like donkeys, alpaca and pigs. Short drive to Minehead town.

Travelling alone, felt safe and relaxed at cottage. 2nd visit in 4 months.

Electric heaters were on so when arrived 18.00 cottage nice and cosy for evening. Made me feel at home and able to relax after travelling. Plenty of car parking space. Quiet location. Comfortable bed. Free W-Fi and good TV.

Wash Basin had crack. Light switch in lounge, difficult to get light on ? connection needs looking at

Lovely cosy clean little cottage stay.

Nice and clean and cosy. All the utensils we could need in the kitchen. Bedding, towels and curtains smelled of fabric softener. Lovely little decorations in every room. Heaters dotted about if we were to need them.

A great stay in a great location close to nature.

The instructions to collect the keys were clear. The location was great being as it were very close to the beach and to a touristy farm. The property has a lot of outdoor space; so all in all great for families with children if the weather holds up!

The rooms are a tad small, for the price; especially the living room - For a five bedroom "bungalow" it gets VERY cozy when all of us were there in the living room; forget having the folding table opened out for a family dinner! Also, some of the mattresses need replacement.

Nice row of bungalows in a lovely quiet area, ideal for families

Lovely location and setting. Pebble beach across the road and farm which is free to walk around. Didn't meet the host as it's self check in but they are very attentive to their property and guests. Lovely welcome folder explaining everything about the property and also the area. Would love to stay here again and bring more family members as its perfect for a family reunion and get together.

Bungalows are a little dated but we liked it and had a really lovely weekend, there wasn't anything we didnt like and would 100% return. Only negative is it says no pets allowed but we saw a family with a dog so a bit confusing. Overall lovely place and have already told others about it.

We were pleased to have chosen this place, though with a small effo they could make it a better

Beautiful area Peace and quiet (apart from neighbour's hedge cutter) Proximity to our old friends in Watchet Outdoor tables to sit and have breakfast Near interesting beach Plenty of birds around, swallows, wagtails, rooks, robin etc all seen from the property

Kitchen provision is a bit mean: *Only 1 cutting board, which other guests may have used for raw meat or fish, could lead to Salmonella *No spoon for stirring, you would have to use the table cutlery (although there are 2 fish-slices!) a few more kitchen implements would cost them so little in a charity shop *No condiments (you can get 750g for 75p in Sainsburys!) which is really pathetic, ultimate meanness, we had hard-boiled eggs, which are sad without salt Wifi connection for TV didn't work, so impossible to stream anything from device. We recommend they get Chromecast

Quiet location, lovely train station nearby. The house was clean.

Bungalow 4 is very dated and basic. Single bed mattresses need to be replaced . We took it in turns to sleep on them as they were so uncomfortable .

Excellent for our family of 5, everything you would need including bedding and towels. Excellent location for a trip to West Somerset Railway and the surrounding area. The farm park opposite served a great Sunday carvery and breakfast and had a soft play and animal feeding at great value for the children. You can walk to Watchet across the beach on low tide or drive and park for a reasonable price.

Vanessa was a great host, friendly and accommodating. It was a little cold but the electric heaters provided soon warmed up the place. The facilities were great, neighbourhood was lovely. Perfect for what I needed.

It was a little cold at the start but it was expected for the time of year. Shower was odd to operate but after a couple of goes got it right!

An enjoyable, relaxing stay.

Easy parking, clean and exactly as described in the booking information. The heaters had been put on to warm the bungalow up before we arrived. Whilst we never met the owner, we knew how to get hold of her if we needed to. Everything was clearly labelled.

The shower was a little temperamental and the wardrobe door kept opening as we passed it, catching arms etc.

Has everything you could need for a weekend stay

The property had everything we needed for a weekend stay, it has good signage that can be clearly seen from the roadside and the parking is good. The proprietor was pleasant and helpful and the key to the bungalow was in the door ready for us to go straight in when we arrived. The beds are very comfortable. The location is great for us as it is just 2 minutes away from our daughter so we will definitely be back. Bungalow 2 had two bedrooms, bathroom and kitchen/diner/living room so much more space than you would get in a hotel room which is great with 3 teenagers, there was also a nice sized hallway that you could kick off your shoes in and hang coats.

I did mess up with the payment as it went out under a different name that i didn't recognise so when I contacted the bank they cancelled my card and set up a fraud investigation. I later realised it was a genuine payment and contacted the the owner who was lovely about it and we sorted payment out over the phone. Perhaps an advanced email or text giving the name of the company withdrawing the money would help stop this happening again. But it was totally all my fault and not the owners

Perfect stay

Very clean and cosy, extremely good value for money. Very nice location, literally 1 minute walk to the beach. Was here for only one night but would definitely come back for a longer stay. Lovely and very well organised hosts.
