The view was exceptional. The property is in the perfect location in Castelmazzano to do the Flight of Angels, 'Volo dell’Angelo'. The private parking provided is a great bonus. The staff at Monserrat Villa was very friendly and made food to suit our taste.

The location and the onsite restaurant (and their staff) are amazing however the communication with the hotel owners is extremely difficult and minimal. The rooms are very basic.
Additional cost for use of air conditioning, no kettle or microwave in room.

Great location, steep terrain but doable. Authentic property, quiet with great views. A magical place for a once in a lifetime experience, small town feeling with a tight knit community. Town at night with the lighting is dreamy!
Had trouble getting the hot water to work in the shower & not a lot of staff around.

Location was ok, parking for car at hotel at no charge
Doesn’t look appealing, host was not very friendly, very steap walk from town back to hotel, no breakfast available, this hotel would have been great in the 70’s it needs a serious upgrade
