Hotel Pousada Salvador Paradise Aeroporto

I stayed here for one night after arriving in Salvador before heading to Praia do Forte. The hotel was a very convenient option near the airport in Lauro de Freitas. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with good air conditioning and a minibar. The bathroom was also clean and functional. I really liked the peaceful atmosphere, the pool area, and the green surroundings. Breakfast was simple but good, and the staff was friendly and helpful.

The room had a noticeable smell, nothing unbearable, but it felt a bit musty and outdated, especially around the closet area. It gave the impression that the room could use better ventilation and some renovation.

Convenient for a short night before flight

Once in the place nowhere to walk around.

Close to Salvador airport and a good place to rest if you have a long layover (I had 7 hours).

the location is good if you need to stay close to the airport. the pool is well located in front of the breakfast area, has good chairs and it was clean, very good for the kids. the garden of the hotel is nice and green, well looked after, pleasant to be around and my kids loved to play with the cats they had in there.

this hotel could be great if they paid attention to some details. The towels were stained and smelled bad, those were the worst hotel towels I’ve seen in my life, mine had even an orange stain. the bed linen was also of bad quality and only one sheet covering the mattress, which didn’t stay on place in the night. lastly, the food at breakfast was mostly re-heated food. they had a massive variety of breads and “salgados” but the food wasn’t fresh. the cheese bread was hard like a rock and my kids couldn’t eat it. it is not hard to buy frozen cheese bread and put in the oven in the morning! they could reduce the amount of food, but offer only fresh and made on the day food. the small 3 changes above would make a huge difference for this hotel!!
