Forty South Cottage - A Secluded Waterside Getaway

We are a returning customer and we rebooked because it is close to shops water and Hobart city. It had everything we needed with the extra special spa bath. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was very well stocked with even a slow cooker which was great for preparing meals while sightseeing. There were many provisions for the unit which meant we didn't have to buy them including some pantry items. Plenty of pots pans and plates glasses and cups for when family came to visit which was lacking in other accommodation.

Unfortunately the hosts were having issues with the washing machine and had to replace it and they did so the next day. Also, it was a shared washing machine with the host.

Location! Close to everything we needed but quite spot away from the city centre!

The home is warm, cozy, and perfect for families. The hosts are truly wonderful — everything has been thoughtfully planned and arranged, making our stay incredibly comfortable. Every facility we needed was already there, and the attention to detail made us feel right at home. Highly recommended for a peaceful family getaway.

Very well appointed little cottage with an eclectic flair. Hosts were very happy to offer their help if needed. Comfy beds and the spa bath was a winner.

Because the rear entrance opened into a bedroom you have to walk through this bedroom to get to the rest of the house. It was a little bit hard to keep the dirt down when it was wet weather.
