    Stayed for 1 night while our visit to sigiriya . The stay was great , the lion rock is visible straight from the hotel swimming pool area . The breakfast spread was amazing . The closeby attractions like pindurangala rock climb, village experience tour are closeby. Dambulla cave temple is ~40 min by car. We had our private car so it was easy to tour. There are few restaurants nearby walking distance around 10-12 min. The hotel is very cozy and is a good retreat place.

    Loved the location of the hotel, has a view to the rock. But there is very limited variety of veg good. The staff does not have a good knowledge on food variety and difference of veg and non veg food. Rest everything is good.

    The hotel and most of the staff were good, but we got a nasty surprise when we settled our bills on the last day. For the 2 dinners we had, we were never given a copy of the invoices after we signed at the end of the dinner, instead of respecting the customer to give us a copy of what we signed, they kept both copies, as it turned out, a copy of the receipt from day 1 was crucial in letting us studied what we actually signed, ie if we had made a mistake in reading the pricing, ie we thought the dinner price was 600lk, in actual fact, it was ***, we would be able to pick up our mistake and alerted us we made a mistake, and we should not continue for the second mistake, and eat somewhere else. When I mentioned that crucial receipt that we did not get, was so important to us, management did not care.
