New hotel with all the usual amenities for this class of hotel. The room is comfortable and the breakfast buffet offers a wide selection of quality food. The staff is very friendly and helpful and in this respect I would like to give a special commendation to Mr. Aminul who was very attentive and took great care of us.
Given that most new TVs now come with pre-installed options for Netflix, YouTube etc. those services should be available for guests to at least be able to sign in with their own paid subscriptions. However, for unknown reasons, these options were blocked leaving guests with just 14 FTA channels, almost all of which were in Bahasa.

Overall, we had an excellent stay in Ipoh. The location is great and made it easy to explore the city.
The breakfast was outstanding—definitely one of the highlights of our stay. There was an excellent variety, and everything we tried was delicious. The hotel is also very kid-friendly, with a nice playroom that our son really enjoyed.
The only minor disappointment was the room. Although it had a window, it faced an internal shaft rather than an outside view and couldn't be opened. I was expecting a room with an external view. This may not have been clearly mentioned during the booking process, or I may have overlooked it while selecting the room.

Great central location.
A large amount of rooms face directly onto brick walls. While they have windows, the walls they face onto provide no daylight, leaving the rooms in constant darkness!
