AC Hotel by Marriott Ipoh

Room was quite big and spacious, with good air-conditioning. Room was quite clean and quiet enough for good rest. Gym and swimming pool were great! Had good time using them. Staff were helpful and provided good service!

The toilet can be better. The showering area was quite small and my elbow keep hitting the glass panel. The bidet was leaking water. The sink faucet was placed in awkward position such that hard to wash hands without splashing all over the sink area. The hand soap placement also weird, it was placed so so far away from the sink area which is weird because then I needed to walk 5 steps to get the soap and then walk back to wash my hands in the sink...

Location, Breakfast was great, some staff makes that place awesome. One of the staff Sherin Kuar stood out with her Courtesy and Professionalism, she was most attentive and helpful.

The noise from the road, they need to do double glazing in the rooms, we had trouble sleeping even on level 9. There was a wedding on Saturday, a level above us so it was very noisy, when told staff they said we will talk to the team and get back, nothing happened even after 3 phone calls to reception. The bathroom was leaking water, we had to ask for extra towel, bathroom was not cleaned well, I didn't like that fact that they had happy hour and no one told us until check out after 4 days! Reception staff should inform guests about what they have to offer, the guy who checked us in didn't even tell about the location of the breakfast. Some breakfast staff were pushing for recommendations and praise in a form we got given we did not fill them out. Some staff cannot speak English in service areas.

This was a very nice hotel in a good location near food options and a good shopping mall. The staff were great and the breakfast was very good with lots of local food options.

My only complaint was that the bed was very hard and made sleeping difficult.

Clean and nice hotel overall

Bad service. Called for baggage assistance for check out and waited for 30 minutes! Ended up coming down to check out in person and asked them again about the trolley service then only they sent the trolley up! Very poor customer service!
