Blue Lake Residence - Bardolino

Wir waren schon mal im Blue Lake. Auch dieses Mal waren wir wieder rundherum sehr zufrieden!

Apartment at a great location, just 2 mins walk from the restaurant&shopping area. It is inside the ZTL, but car plate no. is registered by staff after arrival to avoid fines and give free in/out driving for the stay. Also, for extra cost, covered parking area can be reserved ahead. The apartment itself was big enough for a couple, 2 rooms, one with small kitchen area and big balcony accessible from both rooms. You have to be aware with the adjustable sun shaders on the balcony, in case of windy nights, as they can be very noisy, also the blinds, which can be fixed to avoid clapping and spoiling night relax. Staff was kind, breakfast was good, but not too much variance.

The bed was so worn and soft, I had problem each morning with my hip (aging haha), and also ants were everywhere in the apartment, had to lock food and snack for sure. Also our apartment was on the top floor, and as the breakfast place is on the rooftop, the table moving noises start 7am every day. Walls could be better sound proof than today. Also, we missed places to put towels under use, that's important as there were no housekeeping under the entire stay.

The accommodation is in a very good location, there is free parking under the house and there are breakfast options for those who don't start the day with coffee and bread. The rooms were small, but luckily there was a large balcony and we were able to spend a nice evening there.

A double bed means that 2 narrow beds are puched together. Unfortunately these beds move and there is a gap between the beds(no mattress topper is placed on top). A person fell into the gap between the beds at night as a result of this movement and injured is hand.This is unacceptable. There were four of us in the apartment and 2 of us had to sleep on the sofa bed. Unfortunately, the bed was very uncomfortable and we didn't get any sleep.
