Awful.

Location only

Heating in the room was shocking checked in at 2pm and the room was freezing. When I complained we were told it’s on a timer and will be on at 5pm it comes on 3 times a day so the hotel tell you when you will be warm in February this is unacceptable with many guests complaining to the management. Breakfast was 8.30 to 9.30 never had a short window in any hotel I have ever stayed in.we went down at 8.30 and the breakfast in half the items were cold you would think starting at 8.30 it would all be warm awful

Nice weekend break

The staff were lovely and all very helpful.Entertainment generally good.

Shower was a bit tempremental.Should add a choice of fruit at breakfast.You can't take grapefruit if you are on statins.

White Bath painted pink for some reason! and was flaking off! No small complimentary shower gel or shampoo - should be standard in hotels these days. Had to go shop to buy some. Was walking round for 5mins looking for my table number for breakfast , they are just randomly put on tables, they dont go up in numerical sequence. Cleaner knocked on door , said we will leave in 5mins so she could clean room but when returned she hadnt come back to room

The room wasn't a bad size and newly decorated with a comfortable bed.

The bathroom was far too small, the sink was just not practical. This bathroom is way too small for an older couple.

Room was clean and comfortable. Warmth appreciated at cold time of year. Shower good temperature. Breakfast and dinner were very good with ample choice. Staff were friendly and efficient.

Absolutely fabulous.

This hotel never changes and never should. It is just perfect from you walk in the door till you oh walk out. The staff are just so friendly and professional, the food is great and the entertainment is second to none. The location is close enough to enjoy every thing but far enough away to get peace and quiet if that is what you are looking for.

I can never find fault with this hotel apart from sometimes it’s fully booked.

Great few days away

Everything was good great location staff great we had a triple room which was very spacious breakfast was lovely plenty of choice tra. Stop right outside.

We did not not know it was a themed few days cruising break which was all Scottish people which was fine but we felt a bit left out as we could not get the evening meal as that was catering for the themed nights which was not to our taste so we had yo go out of hotel to find somewhere to have our evening meal which wd did not really what we wanted to do but on the whole we love the hotel .

Wonderful week, great atmosphere friendly warm and welcoming, scotty the resident entertainment was fantastic and so fun

The only down side was struggling to get seats for the evening entertainment, unless you were down there around half 5 you would have struggled, and one group of travellers thought they were quite entitled by reserving 10 seats every night, one lady asked for a chair that my friend was sitting on (she had popped to the bar) and when I said someone was sitting there she was rather rude to me…. Other than this the hotel is fabulous and the staff are very friendly

Weekend away for me birthday really didnt enjoy .

Location was great

Bedroom was small, window didn’t close properly the wind howled through it, bedroom was freezing radiator only came on certain times was very cold at night. Was given 2 different start times for breakfast.

I won’t be back.

The location

Great location, although. The hotel itself is not for me. It’s more for the older clientele. This was an obvious observation as I kept getting told by the staff that this hotel is for guests only. I had to keep showing them my door key to prove I was a staying quest as I’m a young adult. Hotel had the atmosphere of a care home. Smelt of urine and was extremely hot. The mattresses were rock hard and pillows as thin as paper. The shower bay was laughable. Once in, you couldn’t move to wash yourself. Such a tight space. My room had the overwhelming smell of paint. Breakfasts like a flea market, no organisation on the seating arrangements. No complaints about the quality of the produce for breakfast. Staff are rude unless you’re above the age of 60.

The location was central suited us fine The room was very nice clean and we had a sea view Bed very comfortable Breakfast was good, plenty of choice Didn't visit the bar, but it did seem popular Staff seemed friendly

Advertised as having free parking available however its street parking which you can't reserve and we had problems getting parked near hotel. Felt we were mis lead about this. There were 'no smoking' areas at the front of the hotel, yet residents were opening smoking there. Only 1 lift was there for only 1 person, and it wasn't working..
