Beautifully restored Dutch mansion. Staff are very eager to help. Nice, spacious rooms with balconies or sitting areas. Breakfast was very good, but limited due to the cooking gas shortage. Rooms and bathrooms were spotless and clean.

Beautiful Colonial Mansion looking out over the sea. I loved my room which had a large balcony as well. The gardens were lovely. The staff were helpful and cooked a nice meal for us in the evening that was very good. The location was good.
I would say there was nothing wrong with the hotel other than the fact that it was really expensive and viewed through this lens I would say that the breakfast could have been better as could have the other facilities at the hotel.

Centre of Fort Kochi. Was great for the Bienale.
Neighbourhoods yards were full of rubbish. Not hotel fault but sad to see.

The breakfast was simple and fresh. Fruit, toast, cereal, local food and eggs to order. It is refreshing that there was not a lot of waste from the breakfast as it is all made to order.
The rooms could be better maintained. Paint was peeling off the wall. However I know the hot climate impacts the upkeep of the hotel. It was exceptionally hot when I was there and aircon was problematic to start with and the room smelled mouldy. However the staff were helpful and attentive and worked hard to resolve issues as they arose. The fridge was also not cold.
