The Stables - Luxury Cottage

The property is beautiful, even better than the pictures. The location is so nice and very peaceful, perfect for a relaxing break.

Our stay was exceptional, the stables cottage was finished to a high standard and didn't leave anything out. Mark and Julie had thought of everything for our stay . Very thoughtful welcoming gift which was much appreciated. Also Very accommodating for our 2 dogs aswell. Beautiful quiet location. We would certainly be back and highly recommend.

This property is amazing and bery reasonably priced. Lovely secluded area but comfortably close to local towns. The property itself is well maintained, modern and the Mark and Julie had everything covered. Readily available if you need assistance on anything but to be honest we never really needed them. Would happily revisit in the future

There really is nothing to dislike about this place

From the first moment, this place made us feel like we were really able to relax in luxury, in a stunning, quiet location. The living spaces were light and airy, with all the facilities we could need - there were even local maps, reading books and games to play. The spacious bedrooms all had modern en-suite showers/bathrooms, comfortable beds and a private terrace outside each room. The hosts were very friendly and responsive to communications, and on-hand if needed. With their permission, we were able to view the main gardens - we highly recommend this if you can, it's like a secret garden of wonders! We were lucky with the weather and relished the opportunity to make use of the private outside space and barbeque.

Honestly, it's really hard to find fault with this place! If forced to find anything to add - there was some gentle humming at night in the roof space from the ventilation system (if you're a sensitive sleeper) and a wind vane above the main bedroom - only noticeable because the surrounding area is soooo quiet... just birds, cows and bunnies!
