I would stay outside of the old city. It is dirty and noisy. Akko is not exactly the best place to visit in Israel, though the Old City has a certain charm.
Missed the fact that the loft spaces weren't full ceiling height and there was not option. This hotel is one of the most expensive we stayed at in Israel on a medium budget and was not a good value without breakfast included and being in a noisy part of the city.

Fantastic building, thoughtful and generous hosts, wonderful breakfasts and superb location. Excellent value for money. We were offered a choice of rooms and the one we chose was definitely an upgrade without additional charge. At the last moment we realized we needed a very late departure (1:30pm) and were allowed to stay with no extra fees.
