Sol y Mar Surf Camp

It is very clean & all staff members make it very welcoming & friendly. Simone even set up a BBQ one evening (we all bought something & shared) which was simply fabulous and got us all together on the roof terrace. Plenty of bathrooms/great showers/washing facility/fridge. Comfy clean beds.

Location was excellent for the centre of Collarejo and easy to find. 15-20 min pleasant walk to everywhere really. I could even walk to popcorn beach and sand dunes in about 40 min. Staff was really friendly and helpful as well as the tourists too. Included nice breakfast. I found the place clean though I only spend the night there. Plenty bathrooms and showers all in good condition and clean. Also a kitchen if you want to cook. I didn't use it. Fridges, freezers too. Place to dry your clothes . Nothing was missing. Such a nice building sure have a history but unfortunately forgot to ask. Was lucky because at the end of the street was a street party all nights for my short stay so no sleeping but I really enjoyed it outside with the locals. I would rent it again

Only 2 things really. There were no hangers in my room so ended up hanging my clothes on drawers or anything I could find Above my bed was a roof window really high which made the room bright from very early and was impossible to dim. I don't know about iron or ironing board but with no hangers on a longer stay it might need it.

I liked the convenient location and cleanliness.

The atmosphere was great. Nice people from different places. The staff very friendly.

The beds are really uncomfortable. I still have pain in my back due to the mattress. Horrible. I did a second reservation and I was very disappointed with FRANCESCA who was looking after my booking. She texted me on WhatsApp once I completed my first booking. I mentioned her about the mattress and if I could be moved to another bedroom. She completely ignored me and never reply. Very poor customer service from this rude woman. Only for that reason, I will don't come back to this hostel anymore.
