Great views from the hotel, we stayed in the apartments at the back of the hotel which was decent and spacious enough for a family of four.
The hotel is about a 10 minute drive from lake Mondsee so a car or transport is needed.
The art in the hotel was a bit gaudy and tacky. The coffee machine in the apartment was outdated and there was little or no space to set it up on the counter space. A neat Nespresso machine wouldn’t go amiss. Plugging in the electric kettle over the electric hob was a bit of a safety issue too best not to risk it !
There were only electric bikes to rent and these were quite expensive when factoring in a family of four.

The staff are very friendly, the breakfast is wonderful, the heated pool is excellent, the space is very nice and beautiful, with very nice decor. The room is clean, the bathroom is small but functional.
The room had no air conditioning, only a heater. We are at the beginning of summer (end of May) and the weather is very hot in the region. The solution proposed by the employee doesn't work (opening the windows to let in air) because we were on the ground floor and there were many insects on the plants around and near the room window. It was impossible to keep it open.
