Perfect house if you want to get away and relax with family & friends !

Stayed in Glenn FIA House for 2 nights in January it was a surprise for my 60th birthday from my family . House was brilliant it had something for all ages with the games room upstairs . This part of the house was amazing we had plenty to do with the snooker tables , football table , lots of board games for all ages and a fantastic cinema room and karaoke machine . It also had a lovely garden with hot tub ! We had the best weekend celebrating my birthday. It is also dog friendly which for was great for our pet dog to tag along . Fantastic venue for family weekend away . Great local restaurants and good scenic walks nearby . Would highly recommend!

Fantastic! Would happily return!

This house is fantastic. Decorated beautifully, comfy beds, so much space. The roof space kept us entertained all weekend and the hot tub was a great bonus. We walked to the local pub for a lovely meal aswell. The surroundings and views are absolutely stunning!

The only thing I would recommend is building a gazebo around the hot tub. It wasn't very enjoyable when the rain came on heavy. Otherwise everything was 10/10

Fantastic space with every possible amenity!

There was a huge amount of of space - a large living room, kitchen/ diner and upstairs games area. It also had all possible amenities to make the stay as comfortable and home-away-from-home.

Our only note is that the floorboards were quite squeaky but given how amazing the property was, this was a very minor inconvenience!

Great House in an Excellent Location

Great house, lovely large communal areas and the games/ cinema room/ bar in the attic is fantastic. Bedrooms have good storage space and we found the beds comfy. The location is excellent, plenty of walks from the doorstep and a few pubs and places to get food also in walking distance.

Some little touches were lacking, considering the price. Nothing major but, for example, there were only 2 wine glasses for a house that sleeps 8. Overall the house was clean but I wouldn't say spotless, corners of the bathroom floor, drawers etc were all a bit dusty.

Exceptional, clean and enjoyable.

The house was exceptional and far exceeded our expectations. The house was clean and to a very high standard. The hot tub was a very nice bonus having driven all the way from South Wales. The location was a bit out of the way for our trips into Edinburgh and the Kelpies but this was made up for by the beautiful views on the drive to the different locations. We will definitely be going back and I look forward to it. A lovely property. P.S. the cinema room and surround sound was FANTASTIC!!!!!

The location was a long way from Edinburgh but ideal if we had longer to stay in the property and used it as a Base to travel around the West of Scotland.

House Good for party

The drawing room was big. Location if the property was reasonably good. Backside space was pretty handy. It had everything for the party on first floor. Good place for young guys fir party.

The biggest problem we faced was toilets. We were a group of eight and we discovered that only one bedroom has attached toilet and remaining three bedrooms were depending on one common toilet , though decently big, on the ground floor , and a toilet on the first floor. I feel owner should add one more toilet at the ground floor . He can well take out ine bedroom on ground floor and add another on First. The kitchen did not have a blender and toiletries were barely enough .

You can tell that the owners have invested a lot of time, money and passion into this place!

The house, the rooms, the upstairs function/activities room, the garden - all brilliant! Secure parking, excellent facilities. Couldn't have asked for more to get the first night of our trip off to a flyer. The rooms and bathrooms were clean and welcoming too. Excellent for a weekend, week or longer - be it big groups of family/friends. Lee, one of the owners, was super friendly and helpful too. Couldn't have asked for more.

We stayed only for one night so we didn't have time to find any problems - and we'd have had to have looked hard. The location is great, close to the scenery and local pubs/restaurants. We had nothing negative to say and we'll be coming back for sure.

Lovely & Quiet House in Arrochar

We had a lovely stay at Gleann Fia House with family. The house was very spacious and modern, with an impressive upper games floor! We used the cinema set-up which was great. The kitchen was really well kitted out and the log burner was a lovely addition. Would thoroughly recommend for groups.

We had some issues with hot water on arrival. However, the hosts quickly sorted this out and managed to get a plumber to come in late on Friday night. We didn't have any problems after this.

The house was lovely and had everything we needed. it was in an ideal location and enjoyed lunch at Village Inn. Would recommend.

The only issue we had was with heating and hot water but this was resolved quickly and the property had an electric shower in one of bathrooms so used this in the interim.

Amazing house and surroundings for a short break with a group of people!!

The house was perfect and spacious to hold a large group of people. The beds were comfy, the upstairs games room entertained us, and a big kitchen for self-catering. Stunning views surround the house and great walks around the place. We would definitely come back and stay there again!

The check-out times could be extended to 11am or 12pm instead of 10am. Once we arrived some glasses and bowls were left a bit dirty and a half cup of coffee was left in the microwave. Not enough oil for self-catering and no paper towels to wipe surfaces.

The house is clean and homely. Very well kept, spacious. Comfy beds. Bathrooms spotless and showers were great. Good big dining table to eat and socialise. Cooking facilities were good used hob and oven, easy to use. We had a great stay with family and would stay again. Owner was really helpful and friendly.

Fantastic property - much bigger than the photos suggest. The kitchen / dining room is large and the view is to die for. The spacious living room offers up a wonderful log burner along with a huge TV with Sky and the expected streaming services. Uniquely, this property has all four bedrooms (2 doubles, 1 twin and.a king-size master bedroom with en-suite) on the ground floor making this ideal to accommodate any mobilities. The ground floor also hosts the main bathroom furnished to a high specification. With all the living space on the ground floor, the real wow factor is on the upper floor - a massive open plan space featuring a pool table at one end while the other is given over to a home cinema system - projector and sound system hooked up to both an Amazon fire stick for streaming services, and a full karaoke system (a first for any location I've stated!) All in all, the accommodation is up there with the best on offer for the price in the region. The only downside to this property is the slightly remote location, but this in itself is mitigated with the fantastic surroundings and unbeatable views coupled with the joy of exploring the area driving to and from the house (for non drivers there is a bus stop minutes from the door that runs services to nearby Helensburgh) But for those driving, more than plenty of options are available with Loch Lomond tourist attractions within half hours drive, as is Inverary Jail and Castle, while a bit further afield (90 mins) is the historic Glencoe area. For main supermarkets, Dumbarton (around 40 minutes) offers M&S Food, Morrisons and Asda all pretty much next door to each other. The hosts themselves - Lee and Kerrie - have taken time to think of their guests and haven't just provided a holiday home but a true home from home - and one I hope to return to one day.
