Al ATLAL apartment

Very close to the centre. All the main attractions are in walking distance. The owner is very helpful and provides with a lot of good tips. The whole appartment is airconditioned which is a good thing because it tends to get very hot midday.

Everything was ok

Large, modern and comfortable, a few steps from the hustle of Nizwa. Elevator is available. Nice bathtub for some relaxing time. Improvised public parking at an area nearby.

The check in was not as smooth as I would have wanted. The host send direction on how to self check-in but from the videos we did not realy understood everything, we still needed to go an guess the doors pretty much until we figured out the messages in the videos and found the ones that were for us. But maybe this was just us being tired and not able to understand the videos at that point.

An apartment with great views to both sides, set above neighbouring roofs (there's an elevator so no issue) so we could enjoy both sunrise and sunset views over the city through the large windows! The super friendly and helpful host was always there for us on whatsapp even though we've never met in person thanks to contactless check-in/check-out (door code). The apartment is literally a short walk away from the central attractions of Nizwa, with lots of stores and cafes within brief walking distance. The beds were comfortable, we slept well. We even wanted to extend our stay but it was already booked - that alone tells the story!

All good for us. For longer stay a kitchen could be needed, but there's a kitchenette (fridge, kettle etc) and food delivery apps work well and cafes are nearby so for us there was no issue at all.
