Thesen View - exquisite views with bikes & canoe

Perfect location, restaurants, shops and activities are a walk away. Di was a great host she made our stay very pleasant, she even has a info book for things to do, restaurants and shops which made it easy for us to find our way 😊.

Nothing.

Everything reflects the care and thoughtfulness of the owner, and the room is spotless. We love it,I hope I can come back

We loved our stay at Thesen View. The facilities were amazing, we used the kajak, squash & tennis courts and the mini golf. The location was beautiful, with a lovely bird sanctuary just a 2 minute walk away. We also used the bikes to easily get around the Island, the Braai was another bonus! Di went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. We will definitely be back, for an even longer stay!

What an incredible place to stay! It exceeded all of our expectations. The location on Thesen Island is perfect, peaceful and secure, yet only a short walk to the restaurants, cafés and shops. Waking up to the beautiful lagoon views each morning was a real highlight. The cottage itself is spotless, beautifully decorated and equipped with everything you could possibly need. It immediately felt like a home away from home. The attention to detail throughout the property really shows how much care the hosts put into making your stay comfortable. One of our favourite parts was relaxing on the deck with a coffee in the morning while taking in the stunning views. The hosts were incredibly welcoming, friendly and helpful, providing excellent recommendations while giving us complete privacy throughout our stay. If you’re looking for a peaceful, high-quality stay in Knysna, I couldn’t recommend this accommodation more highly.
