nice view from the room

it was the only hotel with availabilities for our period and for a decent price. The hotel is a functional two star hotel, family run. Nice view from the room, the city was full of snow.

Breakfast too expensive. they charged us 11 euros per breakfast for a 10 year old boy. Breakfast is ok for a 2 stars hotel. Parking not easy in case of snow.

The proprietor was very helpful and cheerful. The hotel was well appointed and comfortable.

The breakfast was excellent, the bedroom has a good view of the old town, and the bed was large and comfortable.

Excellent staff, location and breakfast

Helpful staff and management who did their best to make our stay as pleasant as possible. When the room provided was different to the one on booking.com and there was no alternative they provided complimentary breakfast to help ease our stay.

The room was not as booked though not the hotels fault. Early morning road noise due to position of room.

One night stay at Hotel Cristol

Comfortable beds, clean and good size room very helpful family friendly small hotel. Perfect for a night stay over.

Could do with a little updating in hallways and dining room, tables and chairs are not for comfort. Breakfast (which is extra) was basic, really nice pastries but would have been nice to have a choice of hot as well as cold food but hot beverages were very good.

accommodation and rooms were pleasant for a short as packing space was also limited.

breakfast was ok, a little pricey at 10 euros. that is my personal opinion.

their was no lift and we were on the 2nd floor and we had a lot of luggage for one night as we could only book into our apartment the next day.

Try the breakfast!

The staff was very pleasant and helpful. Each of the people that we interacted with were able to speak both English and Italian with us. The breakfast was especially good! Lovely fruit. :)

Superb

I spent a day of rest on my GR5 hike in Briancon. First impression (from outside, hallways..) wasn't too good but ultimately really enjoyed my stay at the Hotel Cristol. Friendly staff, great location just outside the old city...
