Pool was amazing. Short walk to town.

Had a personalised room tour from the owner on arrival. Tour included 'house rules' and a clear explanation of why they are rules, as well as handy tips about keeping the room cool, air circulation, noise management, and how to not lock the keys in the room! The room was spacious and equipped with a mini fridge, outdoor furniture, bidet, closet with coat hangers. The room and building was well decorated and felt both cosy and traditional. The pool area was lovely, the pool clean and plenty of seating- shared only with 1-2 other guests at any time. Owner was very friendly and checking-in throughout the stay.

Sebastiao is a great host and maintains a clean, comfortable environment. The place has an artistic charm and the pool is fantastic. It's walking distance to the main center of town and plenty of restaurants. I had a great week!

The shower is quite small if you are a taller or bigger person but I think that may be the case in many places.

Just a few minutes walk to town Away from the noise of the town The owner is lovely and helpful. Very clean. No kids Pool onsite. The beach is very nice via a short ferry ride. Lots of cafes and restaurants and you can rent sun shades and cabanas on the beach. Some cafes are very basic, others are high end.

No kettle or facilities to make a drink. This was an issue for us. The owner has problems with "marks" on the floor and bedding from making drinks it seems. No lift so not suitable if steps are an issue. The train line next to the property. Its clearly explained online so it wasn't a surprise. Every 2 hours the local 3 carriage train goes rattling across the bridge. Its loud outside for about 5 seconds then its gone. The windows are double glazed so train noise not an issue when closed but we were there in May so wasnt too hot and didn't want to sleep with the AC on so had to wear ear plugs for the early morning train so not ideal .
