This property was beautiful and quaint, and offered a perfect getaway from the rest of our traveling. That staff offered outstanding service, and our room was exceptionally clean. The amenities are amazing, and we found much to do in our stay here.
The property is a little difficult to access for a tourist, and we had to take a taxi from Kanazawa station. Once you are there, there’s no popping into town quickly. However, they have everything you could need, and we didn’t want to leave for one second once we were at Takitei.

Everything. Beautiful, serene, calming and welcoming. The property was immaculate and stunning and the staff were so gracious and hospitable.

All experience was beyond outstanding. Wonderful location and place ! Highly recommend! Many Japanese were staying there, actually more Japanese vs tourists, which for us is good indication .We really enjoyed snacks and drinks available during the day and night . Outdoors and indoors sentos - amazing . Staff is unreal . You can pick some items in the cute gift store. Bedding was super comfy , we liked feeding pond fish from our room. We had big Japanese tub in our suite , which we also used . Place will have all you need - I would not plan outings during the day to tour - just stay and enjoy ryokan ! We did this as last few days of our trip and that was wise choice. Staff will order taxi , transfer your luggage to Tokyo if you need, just ask .
The only minus was that breakfast and dinner had so many different dishes and so much food that we started to ask not to bring some dishes on the menu . Not
sure what is the reason for avalanche of food , I thought this to be wasteful. Staff is unreal . Also we were off guard when lunch soba was ordered - we were charged additional 900 yens for that and did not know it was extra fee. We had no idea that breakfast is so huge , thus we were completely not hungry and one of us even did not eat .
