The staff at Takitei went above and beyond to make sure that we were comfortable and had an enjoyable stay. They were so kind and patient with our lack of Japanese skills.
Literally couldn’t have been a better stay, nothing to complain about.

- Great building with beautiful garden and koi pond
- Onsen was great, with all necessary amenities and an outdoor hot bath with a waterfall (albeit small) view. Separate for men and women.
- Dinner and breakfast were absolutely fantastic
- Separate relaxation room with drinks and snacks. Overall, lots of snacks and drinks available on the property (included in the price of stay).
- Friendly, attentive staff
- The ryokan is a bit out of the way, but not enough to consider it "among the nature". Recommend taking a taxi or drive there, and not using bus.

This property was beautiful and quaint, and offered a perfect getaway from the rest of our traveling. That staff offered outstanding service, and our room was exceptionally clean. The amenities are amazing, and we found much to do in our stay here.
The property is a little difficult to access for a tourist, and we had to take a taxi from Kanazawa station. Once you are there, there’s no popping into town quickly. However, they have everything you could need, and we didn’t want to leave for one second once we were at Takitei.

Everything. Beautiful, serene, calming and welcoming. The property was immaculate and stunning and the staff were so gracious and hospitable.
