Front beach Luxury near Nice airport

Very spacious apartment with beautiful balcony and nice pool across the street. The apartment is situated in a separate unit in Cagnes, which is very neat and safe. Access to the beach possible after a foot walk of approximately 5 minutes. Various grocery stores easily reachable from the apartment.

The apartment was stylish, comfortable and superbly located.

Excellent welcome and explanation of all essential details (appliances, keys, blinds etc) from Monique. A superb area and perfect location for the beach.

The kitchen lacked knives for food preparation and the shower head needs repair/updating.

The flat is good. Big areas, nice balcony overlooking the complex, and pool. Comfortable bed, even if soft mattress. I suffer from back pain and slept very well but also stayed only 3 nights. The sofa bed was good too. Parking space inside the complex near the building. The complex gives direct access to the beach at cros de cagnes exactly where we wanted to be, so location was perfect for us.

This is one of the lowest rates if not the lowest I have ever given on Booking because this host is expecting guests to clean the property at check out? I am amazed at the amount of good comments and no mention of this. I am now told after few days of check out to pay 50 eur of cleaning fee by bank transfer within 7 days or she will contact a lawyer. Just so you know, because there's no info whatsoever about this on the advert or in the policy she told me now this is what she means by cleaning the flat: "No rabbish, no bottles no dirty WC. The linen go on the floor or in the bin for the linen in the room. The table and kitchen with no food waste. The floors need to be clean as well as the bathrooms" I mean, they don't have a cleaning person actually cleaning the place between guests?? It just goes to change linen or what? That's scary to trust cleaning to guests!!! We washed all the dishes and still took out most of the trash while rushing out to the airport because her friend at checkout told me so and showed me where was the bin for the building but we were not informed of that before. In France there are no street rubbish bins. And no reclying for glass bottles (we left 2)? We did not see. Also no information of a cleaning fee beforehand. Booking confirmed now that I do not have to pay the cleaning fee if I don't agree to it since it was not specified any cleaning fee. Also beware of the 1000 eur deposit requested by bank transfer, we did not do it because booked 2 days before check-in, but I wouldn't feel very secured in giving 1000 eur deposit for 1 bedroom flat. I do not give a lower rating because believe there is potential and is just lack of hospitality experience. This lack of experience was also shown in other smaller details: - I had asked for the sofa bed to be ready and when I get there the sofa is closed (as a sofa) and was the friend doing the check-in that showed me how to open it.
