Excellent accommodation for visit to Caminito del Rey

Exceptional

Owners are really nice, instead of sending us GPS they waited for us and showed us the way to the house. Then explained everything and even helped us with plan for Caminito del Rey. House itself is huge, very comfy and has everything that you need. We also loved the countryside location away from the town, with olive trees and horses around, very quiet with beautiful sunset

We stayed only for 1 night, next time have to come for longer stay :)

Home from Home

Location and view was excellent, totally rural and yet just two-three minutes by car to town. Beds were very comfortable and that's coming from a bed saleman for thirty five years and very fussy about bed comfort. All home comforts were provided. Had we not already booked all the accommodation for our touring journey of Andulcia we would have asked to stay longer. Never mind, next time!

The drive way up is very steep, a little bit challenging for me being in a left hand drive car for the first time in five years but not insurmountable. Had this been our last stop rather than our first I doubt if I would even have noticed

Very kind and welcoming host, impeccably clean and very comfy casa

Extremely welcoming and flexible host who welcomed us with open arms even though we were very late checking in because of unexpected travel constraints. He guided us from a meeting point to his lovely home and took the time to explain everything patiently even though it was past 10 pm. He even had a nice bottle of local wine waiting for us. The house was perfect for us and very clean and comfortable. It was a bit remote from the village and very quiet with very nice views of the valley. We enjoyed having use of the fireplace with lots of free wood.

Because we had just completed a five-day bicycling tour, we had a lot of dirty clothes and it would have been nice to have the use of a washing machine in the house. This is not a big deal as we washed our clothes in the shower, but the use of a washing machine would make a longer stay that much more pleasant.

Romantic location.

Modern house in terrific, quiet location with breathtaking views. Very nice and helpful owners. Thanks for the good wine, a nice welcome gift. I went there for cycling and the house is a good departure point. Also hiked through the Caminito del Rey (please reserve ahead!) and visited El Torcal close to Antequera (no booking necessary, free of charge). Both gorgeous excursions. I did not manage to visit the famous cave. It looks impressive on the pictures. The village of Ardales is a nice white village with ruins of a castle on the top.

Very comfortable and clean. Perfect location for a stop on route. The host António was extremely helpful even though we arrived late due to a delayed flight. We would definitely go back again and stay a bit longer to explore the local area more.

lokalizacja jest najwieksza zaleta tego domku. Kawalek za miejscowoscia, na wzgorzu, z pieknym widokiem. Bardzo sympatyczny wlasciciel. Przed naszym przyjazdem chyba nie bylo nikogo, a to dom wolnostojacy, wiec bylo zimno. Kominek sprawnie dzialajacy. Bardzo duzo kocy, wiec nie bylo problemu. Wszelkie udogodnienia w kuchni, bardzo duzy wybor herbat, slodycze. Polecam.

Fantastische locatie met geweldig uitzicht

We spraken af bij het tankstation zodat de eigenaar ons kon begeleiden naar het huis in de heuvels van Ardales. Aardige en behulpzame gastheer, een geweldige locatie, fantastisch uitzicht en een prachtig huis. Perfecte uitvalsbasis ook als je de Caminito del Rey wilt wandelen. Vanaf het huis rijd je in een kwartier naar de centrale parkeerplaats voor de Caminito. Eigenlijk jammer om hier maar 1 nacht te verblijven.

Maison pleine de charme avec piscine et vue magnifique

Un grand merci à Antonio et à son fils pour leur accueil chaleureux. La maison est très bien située pour visiter l'Andalousie. Elle est très bien équipée, très propre. La piscine et la vue sont magnifiques. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour !
