Battambang Eco Stay &cooking class

We had the most wonderful stay in a sweet stilted Khmer house, spacious and comfortable with a balcony and lots of room beneath for hammocks, chilling and eating. Peaceful location, listening to frogs and birds; it is a little out of time, so you’ll need scooters or tuktuk-but this added to its appeal for us. Pisut our host, is the most beautiful person who made our stay so special, her little touches of flowers and decorations extra sweet. We also did the cooking course with her, choosing our ingredients at the market, eating breakfast there too, lots of fun. We loved cooking with her, trying to recreate her most yummy amok. I’d definitely recommend doing this, her cooking is so tasty-the breakfast ❤️

The best place to stay in Battambang! We will definitely stay here many more times. They took care of us the entire time and helped us whenever we needed. It might be a bit far from town for some people, but if you really want to stay in a local homestay and share a great time, it’s only a 10-minute tuk-tuk ride from the city center. And please try the cooking class!

What an amazing place. I would like to say how incredibly wonderful the host Pisey is. She goes above and beyond in making your stay memorable. She is one of the best hosts that i have ever encountered. A little out of town, but well worth it if you want to immerse your self in Cambodian rural life. I did her cooking class which was informative and delicious. Having all the local kids around was very fun and special. ( I even got to take them to the local swimming pool) I originally was to stay 2 nights but ended up stay 5. Hands down the best experience i have had in Cambodia. I arrived a stranger and left feeling like family.

Nothing

I had such a wonderful stay - the whole family made me feel so welcome and at home. Genuine and kind, their hospitality really made my experience whilst here in Cambodia! The bungalow was clean, comfortable and peaceful, surrounded by beautiful countryside that gave me a real taste of local life. The home cooked food was delicious, and nothing was ever too much trouble. Thank you!! I hope to visit again in the future :-)
