Red Door Cottage

Red Dor Cottage truly exceeded my expectations. I had fallen in love with the place when we started planning our trip to South Africa 18 months ago. Communications were brilliant throughout, from when we first booked to the days appproaching our arrival. Upon arrival we were met at the door by Quinton and his very friendly dog, Holly. Quinton is an absolute delight!l and a generous host. He's friendly, funny and goes out of his way to ensure your stay is perfect. He's the kind of chap I would love to sit down with for an evening, share a good meal, wine and put the world to rights. The cottage itself is wonderful! Beautifully decorated and thoughtfully equipped with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay - the bottle of wine, biscuits and chocolate were a welcome and much appreciated touch. We've stayed in various lovely places on our trip so far (and in other countries over the years), and Red Door Cotrage doesn't feel like holiday accommodation, it truly feels like a home from home - right down to the houseplants. This place has soul! Thank you Quinton, Wayne and Holly - you have created a perfect retreat from the humdrum of everyday life. I hope that we'll have a chance to visit you again.

That we only stayed for for nights!

The best hosts ever, not even close! Then the cottage itself felt like home immediately, every detail has been thought about, every small decoration has some character, the view is spectacular and the bird song is so soothing.

I just regret not booking it for longer

Cottage charmant, reposant, dans un endroit calme avec de beaux paysages et une belle vue. Hôte très accueillant et attentionné tout en étant discret.

The property was stunning and easy to get to. The unit was well resourced and beautifully decorated and the hosts were really friendly and welcoming which made the stay even better. Any request we had, they responded to promptly. Thank you for such a wonderful stay!
