CASA ACAMPORA

Amazing views of sorrento, spotlessly clean throughout , really helpful host

The elevated location gave stunning views of Sorrento across to Naples bay and Mount Vesuvius. The pool was great after a steep walk from the centre

It was extremely dated and the interior is shabbier than it appeared in the photos. The bathroom in particular wasn’t nicely presented (rust in places, sink plug) and would benefit from being replaced. The outdoor area/balconies, although very spacious and well presented with seating/tables and comfortable sunloungers didn’t appear to have been cleaned for a long time (we found bits of broken glass in the artificial lawn). No basic products/items provided that you usually get in a property of this kind - e.g. washing up liquid, pool towels, only one wine glass to share between 4. Cutlery/crockery was dirty on arrival so had to be cleaned before use. Overall the property is overdue a refurbishment and has amazing potential. However, Andrea, the letting agent was very responsive and helpful, allowing us to store bags in her tour shop in the centre until check-in and did offer a later check out should we have needed it, due to not guests checking in that day.
