The heating wasn't working when we arrived (on a Monday night). I messaged the 'host' straightaway who advised me to try the thermostat controls, which I did. However, on this not working, I messaged the host that night (twice), and got no response. Waited patiently all morning, the next day (Tuesday), and no response from owner. Had to chase again at 4.38 pm in the afternoon, when finally someone was sent round to check heating (after constant chasing from myself). Turns out it was an old heating system which is why it wasn't working - not sure why the facilities say 'heating' is provided, when in November, as a winter month, no heating was actually provided until I repeatedly chased it. Additionally, a strong unpleasant smell was coming from the apartment, and the kitchen utensils (cutlery and crockery) were not adequately cleaned. I mentioned all this to the owner whilst we were staying there, and was informed it will be looked at and I would be updated after we checked out (as I was only there for 2 nights). However, still not had an update on the issues. Mattresses in both rooms were of real poor quality, and the toilet and bathroom doors were incredibly difficult to shut and lock. Really poor standard of accommodation for the price one has to pay The pictures I attach will show the poor cleaning of the crockery and cutlery

5 of us staying, had only made up beds for 4, but we were able to find duvet for fold up bed.

Lovely 2-bed apartment, nice garden (a bit wild, could maybe do with a little attention!). Wifi very good throughout, and every tv had Netflix. Very good location to explore Portsmouth.

I was told to clean all of the kitchen and dishes, load the dishwasher and gather the garbage, even though I paid quite a hefty cleaning fee! I was on my own and the cleaning fee was the same as if I’d been a large family.

Exceptional…A safe comfortable home from home!

Exceptional apartment that is beautifully designed and furnished. You will quite literally feel like you are in a home from home. Very sociable layout with plenty of places to relax and have time together. Lovely garden and very quiet safe location. Perfect for families with children and those with mobility requirements. Great location in Portsmouth and the city centre. Can highly recommend and plan to stay again!

Perfect - home from home!

As a wheelchair user I usually struggle to find somewhere to stay that is accessible. This apartment was brilliant as I could access every room. The owner had put ramps around so that I could get in and out, the shower was step-free and even had a shower seat. It was like being at home whilst been away - the property had everything you could possibly need. I would highly recommend it and will stay there again. The owner is very kind and friendly. He checked several times that I had everything that I needed.

There was nothing that I didn't like. If I was being really picky I would say that the internet kept dropping out but I didn't care as I wanted to be away from work anyway!

Nur buchen wenn man kein Wert auf Sauberkeit legt

Ein wirklich schönes Haus in zentraler Lage von Southsea.

Die Küche war total klebrig und verdreckt. Ebenso die Sitzmöbel draußen. Man konnte sie nicht benutzen. Die Pfannen waren verdreckt und verkratzt. Wir wollten Pancakes machen und mussten den Teig wegschmeißen, weil die Pfannen einfach nicht zu nutzen waren. Wir haben die Unterkunft 10 Minuten späterals vereinbart verlassen und uns wurde aus diesem Grund eine Strafgebühr berechnet. Das ist lächerlich. Schade um das schöne Haus was total vergammelt. Das dreckigste was wir seitdem wir über booking.com Reisen besucht haben
