    Really nice place to detox and just immerse in the quietness of kamakura. Food is easy to get and there’s uber delivery too

    WE arrived, I’d booked the hotel but the gentleman on reception basically ignored me and spoke directly to my partner. I felt invisible. I had a problem with the shower, the said gentleman was on duty and accompanied me back to my room to take a look. Basically the shower was horizontal (defo not practical) he suggested I used the bath or hand hold the shower. I knew it wasn’t meant to be like that. I addressed his none meet & greet and suggested he took a course on customer services. He still didn’t look at me just apologised. After returning from the day the female receptionist asked if she could look at our shower upon which she fixed it ! Ironic it took a woman to sort that issue out. Other issues a kettle in room but no tea or coffee , I queried this and was told I could buy from their shop. No. TV in room, and very poor lighting, no where to put clothes and very little space. Breakfast interesting…

    Chic hotel very centrally located (3 min from station) - v clean and quiet. Comfortable and stylish room, simple and uncluttered. Breakfast is a highlight, with views of tranquil garden, or take the patio to watch the street come to life. Perfect to explore and enjoy Kamakura.

    Staffs tries to help when you ask but definitely not considered good service. Hotel is only good for the location and personally feels that price is mostly for the location.
