    The check-in procedure for the hotel worked well. Because the hotel does not have a manned reception, we had to check-in via a tablet at the entrance, which went smoothly. The room itself was very clean and had good facilities. Also, the cleaning done by the staff was very well done. The location is of course one of the main advantages of this hotel, since it is within walking distance of the train station and close to main sightseeing location.

    Make sure you remember the check-in code. I realized I hadn't received mine, but luckily the information email address replied to my message during the day, so the automated check-in worked out just fine for us. The room was very clean, nice, and modern. We stayed in room 205, which faced the street. The curtains are extremely thin, and it gets bright starting at 5:30 AM, so it's best to bring an eye mask unless you plan to wake up early. Great location for visiting Kamakura and the shrine. Note that the hotel has no parking. There are plenty of parking lots nearby, but they are relatively expensive.

    The worst unmanned hotel and the worst experience！ 45 min check in with more than 10 visitos in front of us and several behind! Long queue at a narrow but very windy corridor with the poorest mobile connection! Only one iPad for check in! Everyone took long time to complete check in and everyone needed to call the staff during check in. Finally we got inside the room but WOW, expensive but small room! You can't get around the corner to reach the tiny pantry or the toilet in the reverse direction without stepping on the beds! That means you can't avoid waking up your friend at night either you get to the toilet or the pantry (water boiler and hairdryer, etc). No baggage storage. No staff to serve. No breakfast possible. Then why should I pay double to stay in a room smaller than and service not up to the Toyoko Inn standards? If time and experience are valuable to you, never try this hotel!!!
