We liked the location and the outside area
There was absolutely no communication from the host. We had to phone to find out where the cottage was situated and where to collect the key. When we left, there were no checkout instructions or communication either, so we simply left the key in the key box at the exit.
The cottage had an unpleasant smell, a combination of cleaning products and damp, stale water. On top of that, there was no Wi-Fi at all.
The communal swimming pool was full of leaves and never cleaned in the 4 days we were there.

Located right near the main restaurants and shops.
The beach was only a very short drive away.
Very idyllic pool area with plenty of braais available and a big pool but a bit too cold in August which is understandable as it’s winter.
Nice private garden
A dishwasher would of been nice instead of the wine fridge
