The Mermaid and The Pearl Boutique Hotel

Where do I begin. Brandon the manager is a super manager. Nothing is too much for him or his team. We arrived before check in, and as our room wasn't ready, he let us change and then packed us off to the beach with chairs and umbrellas. His recommendations of where to go for authentic food on an evening was top notch, family run establishments that beat the other offerings we tried but cost half the price. The roof top pool was a bonus for a cooling dip. Paul the owner and his wife were also on hand at the hotel and ensured that the cleanliness was of a very high standard. I would have no hesitation in recommending this property to friends and if we came again would definitely stay here again.

What's not to like about this awesome hotel

Really especially if you want to do a long stay. Walking distance to the ferry.

Big room and bathroom. Convenient location, close to the beach and ferry. Friendly host.

Early check out. There was a lot of heat and humidity on the common areas.

The property is in a very convenient location, near the beach, shops, ferry. Very clean and well cared for. The owners were thoughtful about details, making you feel welcome and at home. We loved talking the bikes for a spin around the island! Our room was the perfect size for 2 people, with a comfortable bed and AC :) I was concerned it would be loud given the location, but it wasn’t at all. Slept like a baby.
