Room very nice Good Breakfest

Late check in is very difficult because no one at the reception after 6 or 7pm. You need to inform the hotel in order to get the indications on how to access the room. The location of the hotel is far from Koln. Impossible to get a taxi from the hôtel in the morning during the Anuga Trade Fair. You need to take a bus and get to Bergish if you need to go to Koln. No vending machines in the hôtel and no supermarket in the neighborhood.

Breakfast was good, but limited options. They were quite flexible with the time of the breakfast. When we arrived late actually quite late, they were nice to serve us anyway. The room was cozy and nice. We stayed 2 nights, but they didn't make up the room nor did they clean it for the second night. There was no elevator in the building, and we had a room on the third floor with our heavy suitcases to carry up on a narrow staircase. But the room was excellent.

The reception closes at 6 PM and we didn't know that. No one actually told us. So, we arrived late and had to call the given No of the Hotel, many times until finally after 2 hours they called us back and arranged for someone to come and open the door for us. That was a bit worrying and not a pleasant welcoming entry on the first night. We had to attend a trade show and we had no possibility of coming/ checking in as early as 6 PM before the reception was closed. For the second night, we knew the issue and didn't leave the keys to the reception.
