The location was amazing. A walk to everywhere and right across from St. Roch and the wonderful Street of cafes and restaurants.
The fire alarm not going off at 8:30 in the morning on our last day there. That was not the hosts fault but someone probably burning something in the building.

The apartment was very clean, layed out nicely and well equipped. We had nice views of the mountains in the distance and saw some beautiful sunsets. The apartment is relatively close to Old Quebec..we took a couple of Ubers initially (which are abundant and response is very prompt) and once we figured out which roads to take were able to walk there, back or both. The owners were very pleasant and responsive. There is a grocery store right by the apartment and several good restaurants on the next street, so one block away.
It does look out on a busy road and the road noise from traffic and people was pretty much constant. If you are a light sleeper, be sure to bring a sound machine or download a sound app which is what I did after the first couple of nights. We did find the beds to be a bit uncomfortable.

The apartment was pretty much as pictured and described - clean, comfortable and nicely furnished. Parking spot in the building was very nice to have and worked well for us (though not suitable for larger SUVs). It was a quick walk to tourist attractions/ old Quebec.
The balcony overlooks a very busy street and is extremely small. So it's no place where you'd really want to sit out and relax. The building is located in a somewhat sketchy area, with many (apparently) homeless hanging out/ camping out behind the building and under the highway a block away. We didn't have any issues, but didn't make us feel particularly safe either. Given what we paid, I would have expected a somewhat nicer location/ overall experience.
