It was beautiful

There was quite a lot of dust everywhere

The mattress, duvet and pillows were very comfy and slept well compared to other places we've stayed The apartment very clean had afew nice little touches eg- milk left in the fridge for coffees which was a lifesaver. Hairdryer, Hairstraightners.. The fish tank and fish are beautiful The apartment gives you a nice welcome feel and makes you feel like home Commuincation and updates from owners were excellent

The only 2 thing I didn't like was the bath temp was limited and had to keep topping up the hot water as it wouldn't stay warn and there was some flapping/banging all night, it was very windy and I think it may have been a vent or something but would happily stay again, alot of thought and consideration has gone into every little detail, well done

Absolutely stunning property. Very rare you find stuff like this around lake district. Very boujee, and full of entertainment. 2 tvs to suite both bed and living area. Games machine with vintage games (did not stop playing this). Spa bath which fits two people, which feels like a hottub. The decor of this property is insane, everything goes well, very “instagramable”. The bed was comfy as well as sofa. But let’s talk about the flooring, absolutely stunning. Nice welcome gift when we arrived and one of the owners Chris was actually at the property when we arrived so he got us settled in and me up to speed with how to use the facilities thank you. Thank you so much for an amazing stay we will definitely be back.

Fantastic apartment with everything you old wish for and more. Went for my wife's 40th birthday, and we had an excellent time, and I can't recommend it highly enough.

The facilities were amazing, comfortable and the room had amazing interior and design.

The kitchen work top was dirty with gritty mess all over requiring me to clean it again (and toilet didn’t look fully clean). On leaving the owners we’re fixing an air con unit in the next door apartment (there was one in our apartment but not working so think this may have been work in progress). Personally I didn’t like the art work- bit odd and mismatched the lovely other furnishings. Sorry I didn’t like the pink mosaic dog. Not sure if purely just a forgotten thing but no milk (but did provided tea/ coffee/ orange juice)

So many good tech features that really elevated it to a higher level, such as the electric blinds controlled by a switch as you enter the room. The location was excellent too, less than a minute walk out of the front door and you're in the centre of Windermere.

Exactly like the photos … if not better! Lovely decor, smart home features were amazing. Great communication from the owners, texts before hand and even sent information about local restaurants which was helpful. Has everything you need. The apartment was spotless. Bed was super comfy! Little things didn’t go a miss, complimentary alcoholic drinks & orange juices & milk. Thanks so much ! We are already planning our next visit!

As soon as we arrived we immediately were amazed at how stunning the apartment is. It truly has a wow factor and it really is a 5 star experience. Everything you could want in a stay is provided - a great location, all amenities you could possibly need, fab recommendations for the local area, luxury and comfort plus wonderful friendly hosts. Highly recommended and we would love to return in the future.

I couldn't stay longer

This place is amazing, it’s so stylish and roomy, it’s in a great location, I loved the resin floor, the jacuzzi was spot on, and just all the lovely artwork and touches around the place, I couldn’t fault it. And will 100% be back for more visits.

As soon as you open the door its like WOW! Then you spend the next hour wandering around exlopring the technology and finding lovely little, quirky things like a little silver man sat on the beams! Stunningly beautiful! Quiet area and so close to the town for walking for food and drinks. We contacted the owners a couple of times with queries and they were really helpful and kind - a pleasure!

Something minor I would of liked to know before hand….- we booked for one night. My partner had a shower - we started to fill the spa bath (temp controls took some figuring out) we had filled it to just above the jets as specified, got in, switched on the jets to maintain temp and they just kicked out cold water constantly… We rang and the owner was great explaining we had used all the hot water with the shower and filling up the bath and theres no more left as no gas goes to property. Wouldnt of been an issue if we were there for a few nights but it was now 11pm and the moment had passed. :( So for other customers definately book! But! if you want a bath don’t have a shower before hand! Be careful of your hot water usage! That being said now we know we would 100% come back again and again - a wonderful property the owners should be really proud!

location great - apartment didn’t disappoint

We were initially delighted upon arrival at the apartment all the facilities and room seemed to be perfect. However, we soon discovered that we didn’t have any hot water. Carolyn (owner) was very apologetic for inconvenience and said a plumber would be there within 15 minutes to fix the fault. The plumber arrived in just over ½ hour but was doubtful he could resolve the issue as he was waiting for a part that he had ordered to arrive. 2 hours later still no hot water. Contacted the owners who were out of the area and were not aware of any fault!!!! Had to endure an ice cold bath. Running late for our restaurant reservation but managed to change the booking to a later time. We paid £255.55 for 1 night stay. We contacted the owners via text to say how disappointed we were and would like a refund. 9pm the owners offer was for us to leave the bar and our car, pack up & move to her brothers apartment in another TOWN!!! (incidentally more than £100 cheaper). We could see no benefit in moving to another apartment in another town at that time of the evening. Carolyn said she wanted to speak with us so we arranged a call at 10am - no call - after breakfast when we were collecting our car here is the plumber fitting a new part to the hot water tank!!!! I had to telephone her at 3.30 they offered not 1p in compensation- she even telephoned the restaurant to check we had to change our reservation and was astounded that we were obsessed with having a bath!!!! We left the property in immaculate condition- text her several times to try to resolve the issue to which she said “leave a negative feedback I’m not bothered”

We liked everything about it, smart house applications. The bath was so relaxing, the artwork was in keeping, everything you could need was provided. The one way glass provided privacy. Whilst it was chilly outside, the apartment was the perfect temperature. Would highly recommend and I look forward to returning in the new year.
