The apartment is very centrally located - just ten minutes' walk to the main centre of Catania and steps away from the busy daily market. There are several large-ish supermarkets within a 5 minute walk. Although there's no dedicated parking space, we managed to find free on-street parking close-by throughout our stay. The apartment had air conditioning in the main bedroom and the lounge, which was essential in July. There are large traditional doors that can also be opened to cool it down. The living room is large and very comfortable with a Smart TV. We enjoyed our stay.

Although the kitchen had plenty of crockery and cutlery, none of the saucepans had matching lids and the one glass frying pan lid we found, didn't have a handle which made cooking tricky. There was a dishwasher but we weren't left any tablets to use, so we were washing-up by hand with just one very small tea towel to dry up with. The kitchen could also benefit from a one-off deep clean - some of the cupboard handles were very sticky and the extractor fan filter needed to be replaced. The single bedroom area on the mezzanine was small with a low archway, which could be an issue for an older teenager or adult.

Polecam mieszkanie jeśli chcesz się poczuć jak w domu. Przestronne, z pełną kuchnią, wygodnym spaniem (tak, nawet na sofie). Fantastyczna lokalizacja, blisko centrum, targu oraz dwóch supermarketów! Do tego oczywiście wspaniali gospodarze Tonia i Simone, którzy sprawili, że czuliśmy się zaopiekowani ❤️ dzięki ich uprzejmości mogliśmy się zakwaterować po północy i wykwaterować trochę później na nasz popołudniowy lot do domu ❤️ chętnie będę wracać!

Everything was perfect!

We loved our stay here. We were here for 56 nights & loved our place and loved the hosts. Tonia & Simone are true hosts . Very attentive and always available. So sweet that they checked in on us so many times, just to see how we were and if we were comfortable. We will come back to this property for sure!! So close to absolutely everything. Three supermarkets just down the street. Plus every morning you can go get fresh fruits, vegetables, fish, and nuts in the open-air market, or anything for that matter. Tiny little bakery right down the block as well. Its just a wow!! The city center is fabulous for great strolls with some wonderful restaurants and little bars everywhere. Bellini park was as well very special. The train and bus station are all just minutes away if you want to do day trips to other cities that are so close by.
