Was a little confusing collecting the key from building near property, but not overly difficult. Unfortunately the smell of dampness was very prevalent in the room when opening the door for the first time. I think due to hot temperatures outside and cold aircon in, it created condensation and we actually had to leave the door slightly cracked to stop this happening. One vent near the door actually started dripping and created a pool of water on the fool. I think if something could be done about the smell and condensation the property would get top marks. Also it’s not quite two bedroom rather one big open room with bifold doors. We managed with this but expected a more private room area.

Location, large veranda (but shame it got no sun} Open plan lounge/kitchen/diner.

We knew second bedroom was a bed only, but if we had known it was glass windows between both bedrooms with no blackout and your could hear a pin drop we would not have booked. Would be fine for family with young kids, but we had an adult daughter. If she wanted to read at night the light shone straight into our room. We also didn’t like that the bedroom doors were glass, and no sound proofing, if one person stayed up late to watch a movie it would keep others awake. We had a 10 night stay and our bedding was not changed. When we arrived we found in a previous review of the property the Tennent had reported the tv remote didn’t work, was stuck on one channel, the tumble dryer was broken and dishwasher didn’t clean well. It was therefore disappointing that these items hadn’t been fixed when we arrived and we had to report them again. The property management team were helpful and the tv remote was replaced the same day and a new tumble dryer the next day. If the veranda been in the sun the tumble dryer wouldn’t have been an issue but it was hard to get beach towels dry. We also felt a proper clean had not taken place, there were child handprints all over the glass bedroom doors, which made us doubt how thorough the clean had been.

The second room didn't give much privacy to the main room with the bifold window. Could hear everything in each other's bedrooms.
