Palm Cove Beach Apartment

Very convenient location and the pool was amazing.

Don’t get check in instructions before arrival unfortunately. Tried to call the number provided but no luck. The reception staff at the drift were able to let us know the code for the lockbox but requested we try and get it from the owner in future

Best located apartment in the Drift Resort with beautiful views over the pool and garden. Also facing North so light and airy Privately owned/managed - quickly responsive via Booking.com site Everything is clean, well stocked with everything you could need, bed is comfortable Location of the resort is excellent - on the Esplanade in easy walking reach of all restaurants/shops in Palm Cove

As per previous reviews the front door still scrapes on the tiles when opening and closing! Aircon is effective but noisy (and old) The front hotplate on the stove is not working

Great location, close to restaurants, boutiques and lovely beach walks.

We rarely leave negative reviews, but feel this feedback is important for future guests. While the location is excellent and close to restaurants, boutiques and the beach, there were several issues that impacted our stay. The key deposit box was difficult to locate on arrival. There was also scaffolding outside the balcony which significantly blocked the view, this was not disclosed and we likely would have reconsidered booking elsewhere had we known, as this stay was for a special occasion. The outdoor furniture was worn and in poor condition and the balcony presentation felt neglected. Inside, the fridge had been left open prior to our arrival, resulting in spoiled milk. Towels were left in the dryer, suggesting the property hadn’t been fully prepared. There were also maintenance issues, including flickering bathroom lights which made it unusable at times, and the front door scraping loudly against the floor when opening and closing. We hope this feedback is taken on board, as the property has great potential but needs better upkeep and clearer communication.
