Perfect weekend getaway

What a little gem :) this is the second time I’ve stayed here with my partner and child. The hut is well equipped with everything you need. The location is beautiful. It’s very quiet and peaceful. And the hot tub was just perfect :)

A beautiful hidden gem with amazing views

What a gem. This hut is in a beautiful location right in the depths of the countryside. It had incredible views from both the front of the property and back of the property. We walked and then climbed the Black Mountain from the hut which was great fun. This whole place has been done to a high calibre. The outdoor area is amazing, with a fantastic proper hot tub. The whole hut is large. Good space for two people. The shower is massive and water pressure was great. Kitchen space was perfect for self-catering. There’s a lovely private grass area and then a bigger communal grass area with some games. The welcome Prosecco, milk and Welsh cakes was a nice treat. Rosie was really helpful and lovely. Nothing was too much. The family also have some wonderful animals on site, from the sheep in the field behind our cabin, to the cute dogs and two wonderful cats. I was sad to leave Maui as he is the sweetest cat. I loved his daily visits. We were both genuinely sad to leave this place. It was the perfect place for a few days away and we can’t wait to come again.

Not much we didn’t like really, the only thing was we thought the mattress was a little uncomfortable and lumpy. But I’ve slept on worse. The water did go off twice, but the owners sorted quickly and were apologetic so no real issue. All in all - a fantastic place and we want to book again.

Stunning location, very peaceful with everything you needed. Hot tub and views were amazing. Prosecco on arrival, also a couple of friendly cats to keep you company :)
