The property was conveniently located along the Via Transilvanica. The room was comfortable and spacious. The facilities seemed well furnished. A host was waiting for us when we arrived.
As Via Transilvanica hikers we expected the property to offer a dinner and breakfast, especially since there was no restaurant or grocery store in the village. They informed us after asking for dinner they needed a day’s notice for meals, but there was no mention of this in Booking.com and the property didn’t inform us prior to arriving. After some dialogue they were able to provide us dinner for a price but no breakfast.
There was a wood fired sauna and hot tub on the property, but no offer for us to use it, even with a cost.
I can’t say for sure, but the two issues above may have been because we were the Pensiunea’s only guests for that night.
