Clean , modern cottage. Tomás is a great host and very helpful if you need anything. Great local knowledge of the best places to visit . Kids loved playing with dog , border collie , Queenie. Welcoming scones ( made by his wife Moire) , jam, butter and local Irish apple juice was a lovely touch .Tomás had the fires going on arrival which made the place super cosy . Cottage dates back to 1780 but was recently refurbed by interior designer to a nice old Irish 1970s feel . We loved it . Lots of towels , toiletries. Beds are were all comfy with crisp clean sheets . Washing machine , tumble drier , high chair as well books and board games . Got take away from Jimmys chipper 2k down the road and that was fab . Overall a great experience.
There are views of the Galtees , comeraghs and Knockmealdown mountains all around but it was big misty for our 2 days stays so we missed the views but it didn’t affect our pleasurable stay
