Great location, excellent staff.

The location was very central and also featured a nice aspect looking over the port. The staff, notably Maria and Akis, were extremely helpful and provided excellent alternative accommodation when the original property was affected by an electrical storm and heavy rain on the first day. We also got a free transfer to and from the airport.

Perfect for a couple

Right in the town and walking distance to the port, restaurants, bars, very convenient. We had quite heavy bags and although we had to lug them down stairs we were right there at the port. Amazing shower.

EXCELLENT! Fantastic place to stay! They have it all - with a rooftop!

The location was excellent - few minutes walk from the ferry port, to shops, restaurants, attractions and waterfront. The room was large with a huge spa tub and with bath robes and slippers. The kitchen was fully equipped and daily supplies of coffee, cream, fruit, bread, cereal, juice and water were provided. Outside the room was a massage chair that was free to use. There was also an Amazon Alexa that we played Greek music on! The best part was the roof top area where you could sit and look at the water and watch the sea activity, and see the sunset! The staff were super friendly and helpful, and gave us a lot of information, and they also provided us with a parting gift! Fantastic place, and would definitely recommend staying there!

Amazing trip to Naxos

Rooms were well-appointed, comfortable and quiet. The property was also excellently located close to the harbour and all restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay.

Wifi was spotty. We only stayed for one night, so we did not mention it to the staff until we were checking out as it was not a big problem for us.

Great stay with some minor issues

The room was spacious and comfortable and we had a nice view of the streets below. The location is excellent and the receptionist gave us great tips. They provided water and other amenities and didn't charge some of our consumption from the minibar and gave us some souvenirs. Overall it was excellent value.

When we tried using the oven to heat some food we smelled burning from the outlet and the breakers of the room shutdown and wouldn't work again until a technician came over to fix it a couple of hours later, we were told not to use the oven for the rest of our stay. This was handled relatively well by the staff via WhatsApp, which is the main form of communication with the hotel as most of the time was no one at the reception. There was also an issue with a light sewer smell coming up from the bathroom pipes and the jacuzzi, the jacuzzi water was changed before we got there but I think the pipes are dirty so we noticed some slime in the water.

Really good, clean, spacious and centrally located apartment

Our stay at the Mariet Naxos Elegant suites was excellent. It is centrally located, a maximum 10 minute walk from the port, bus and taxi terminals. It is situated a few steps from the Naxos waterfront. We were a few minutes walk to major attractions - waterfront, restaurants, cafes, Temple of Apollo (Portara), Avaton castle, shopping, etc. The personnel at Mariet were outstanding. A big shoutout to Angel at reception, she greeted us, accompanied us to our clean and spacious apartment, told us all we needed to know, answered all our daily tourist questions. She was gracious, friendly and professional. She really is an angel! Also the cleaning staff was friendly and helpful and she always had a big, welcoming smile. We would thoroughly recommend staying at the Mariet.

Barricade the door of the room before you go to sleep. Reception is not as careful as they should.

Good location. The place has a jacuzzi, which is great so even if it rains there is somewhere nice to relax.

There was a reception mix-up and they gave access to a random couple to our room. We were surprised by strangers at almost 1 a.m, who opened the door to the street. We also killed 2 cockroaches of 3-4 cm each around the kitchen. The bread on the first day had mold on it. No compensation was given (nor requested).

A Little Gem of a Boutique Hotel

This boutique was a lovely find, modern, very clean and comfortable - exceeded our expectations. Very central and a quick walk from the ferry. Receptionist was very helpful and overall thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We would recommend this hotel for visitors to Naxos. Giving 9 but only because it took us a while to find it - additional signage along the main walkway would be helpful.

Excellent rooms and amenities, convenient to the harbor, but a disappearing harbor view.

Rooms were great for the rate paid. The views were great if you were above a certain height. The location is by the harbor where most of our day trips launched from (Delos, Mykonos, Paros). If you came in by boat, you dont even need a shuttle as the hotel is walking distance. Even the Apollo monument was walking distance. At the hotel, our room had a jacuzzi on the patio (which we didnt get to use), as well as a massage chair, which came in handy when winding down for the evening. Everything about the hotel was topnotch. As a bonus, go dine at Meze^2 every night where they have the freshest fish, and the dessert Karamanlidika was a nice surprise!

At the time of this writing, they were building a 3 story hotel in FRONT of our hotel, which blocks the ocean harbor view. That left the rooftop to enjoy any remaining harbor view. Also, the large cobble-stoned pathways, and the steps leading to the hotel can be a chore if you need to drag your heavy luggage through.

Great stay

Location, cleanliness, lovely sea view from Emerald room. Friendly helpful staff. Cleaner worked particularly hard and deserves mention.

Google maps showed stairs so we chose a different way, which it turns out had 'unmarked' stairs. We had emailed the property asking for easiest route to hotel but they never responded. I suggest they give clear directions with map, from ferry port to property. Also, there are lights under bedside table that you can't turn off, so take an eye mask!

Great location but choose your room wisely.

The location was close to the port and near lots of shops and restaurants. The staff were attentive and kind, even coming to assist when we couldn't find the hotel and giving great recommendations. The room was spacious and had a spa bath and a massage chair outside our door. The rooftop deck had a lovely outlook of the town and Port, where we enjoyed the champaign provided on checkin.

There was no natural light in our room since there was a building under construction within arms length of our window, which also was quite noisy in the morning. The room was advertised as a King Suite, which I thought would have a king bed and was our primary reason for choosing this hotel and room. The bed was a queen, so sleep quality was not as expected. There was also too much light coming from appliances and night lights under the end tables that couldn't be turned off, so this also affected sleep quality. Beware that the shower is over the spa bath, so someone without good mobility may struggle.

A wonderful time

The property located centrally to the port and is easy to locate. The hotel very generously stocked the room with lollies, juice, water and , for a welcome gift, a small bottle of Prosecco. The room is spacious and the views from the roof were great. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful with recommendations for our stay. We also enjoyed the massage chair located outside our room. There are a number of great restaurants near the hotel and the beach is only a 5 minute or so walk away.

Charming suites with added touches.

The location is great, just above the waterfront main street and surrounded by wonderful shops. Our room was more like a suite with a jacuzzi tub, and kitchenette. Great sheets and towels and swim towels as well. Very central and the staff are really helpful. The dishes provided are really nice. They have really thought of everything. Good value in Naxos.

The jacuzzi seemed like a nice perk, but it really was not necessary. If I was to return, I would get a room with a regular shower.

GREAT space.... GREAT location.... The Mariet Boutique Spa & Suites exceeded all expectations!

What can I say..... WOW; The Mariet Boutique Spa & Suites in Naxos is incredible! Let's start with the staff; Christina and Mary were amazing to deal with. We got to know them very well and appreciate the fact that they were knowledgeable, attentive and courteous; they were always willing to help and answer all our questions. The Suites are very centrally located; approx. 10 minute drive to the airport, 3-5 minute walk to the ferry and within a 5-7 minute drive, you're out of Hora (Old Town). We stayed in the 'gold' room and had ocean views from our terrace and a hot tub, which we used almost every night to relax and listen to the music playing. The unit is a very comfortable space, has a comfy bed with a TV in the bedroom as well as a TV in the kitchen/lounge area, a steam shower in the bathroom with all toiletries, beach towels, bathrobe and slippers also provided. We received a light continental breakfast which was a great way to kick-start our day. There is also a Roof-top terrace on the property which is open to all guests and boasts breathtaking sunset views and direct viewing access to the Apollo Temple.... all you need is a bottle of wine, cheese and crackers and we're all set; we LOVED it!! The property is actually within the Kastro; The Kastro is a castle on a hilltop dating back to the 13th century. The Mariet Boutique Spa & Suites opened its doors in 2022; it's new, it's clean and definitely leaves a great impression. We made the right decision in selecting this property and highly recommend it.... we can't wait to go back!
