Finest Retreats - The Pods

Hosts were great, the huts were very relaxing

Loved the location of the Pods under the trees, with a sublime view across the valley. We could sit out and enjoy sundowners and al fresco dining. The accommodation was cosy, with everything that we needed, hot showers, a flushing toilet and a kettle. What more could we ask for!

I was not quite sure what to expect, as pods were a new thing for us. Chosen mainly for being a convenient location for our stay, and because something different appealed, the pods turned out to be an excellent choice. Quite small but not too small, and very cosy and comfortable, with everything we needed. Everything was very clean, with lovely decor, nicely equipped kitchenette, and a good sized modern bathroom. Very friendly owner who made a point of being there to welcome us and show us around. Nice outside area with seating, a nice view over the fields, and BBQ facilities, although the weather - autumn gales and rain for much of out time - wasn't conducive to taking full advantage! Overall, a super place for a peaceful break in the countryside, conveniently close to places such as Bath.
