Eclectic Art Deco Apartment in great location

Overall, the apartment was great, had everything it needed, lots of space, all of the appliances were there, and it was clean. The location of the apartment is in a great spot in the city, close to the city center and trains.

The BIGGEST downside of this experience was the hosts and the customer service; it was fairly easy to get in contact. However, on the day of our arrival, I received a message that the check-in had to be delayed by two hours because they couldn't clean it in time. My friends and I were stuck in the city centre with our luggage and bags and had to walk around. The hosts messaged me saying that because we had to wait, they would offer us a "compensation" on coffee while we had to wait for the apartment. I was told to send a picture of the receipt, and the amount would have been compensated. It has been almost two months since our stay, and I still haven't received my money back. I have messaged the hosts over 5 times about the compensation, and I keep getting the same reply "Sorry, it's taking longer than expected, we've followed up with our finance team.......". Be careful with this sort of stuff when booking this apartment, 2-hour check-in delay and NO compensation!!!

Location is excellent. Everything major is walkable, and the surrounding neighbourhood is delightful. Very close to train station, which makes journeys easy.

The apartment itself is okay. There is not really any comfortable or space-appropriate furniture in the house. Very warm without any air conditioning, and one of the bedrooms has no ceiling fan. But the location is excellent; everything is walkable and the neighbourhood is lovely. One towel and linens was provided for 8 days This apartment is managed by Madecomfy, and madecomfy have superimposed their own interface/platform overtop booking.com. This makes managing the booking cumbersome and annoying; you’re constantly navigating through two different portals. Moreover, madecomfy make use of AI chatbots. Unhelpful. Madecomfy refused to plan an early-check in until the day before. They overcharged me for the check-in on the day of arrival. I pointed this out and then they took over two weeks to refund the difference.

Classy beautiful place, clean and great location. Many good shops and cafes just step outside. Easy to walk around and enjoy the vibe.
