Great place with the view

The place is great, everything is on the highest level. Room is clean, spacious, with nice bathroom, comfortable bed and balcony with stunning view. The delicious breakfast was included in price and that was not showed in the offer so we were positivly surprised. The hosts are very kind and make sure that guests are pleased :) That place is also a restaurant which is very convenient!

The only one thing that was an issue for us was the road, because it’s about 2km of gravel road so we tried to not go up and down to much ;) But if you want a view and quiet you have to go somewhere away from city so we knew about it and choosed that place anyway.

Wir hatten einen absolut großartigen Aufenthalt in derSinnes Waldrast bei Tarrenz in Österreich. Markus und Günter sind einfach außergewöhnliche Gastgeber – unglaublich herzlich, aufmerksam und mit echter Leidenschaft dabei. Man spürt sofort, dass hier alles mit Liebe und persönlichem Engagement geführt wird. Sie bereiten sowohl das Frühstück als auch das Abendessen selbst zu – und die Küche ist hervorragend. Hausgemacht, ehrlich, gleichzeitig aber auf sehr hohem Niveau und wunderschön angerichtet. Die Atmosphäre ist gemütlich und stilvoll zugleich. Die Waldhütte ist neu und modern renoviert, geschmackvoll gestaltet und liegt traumhaft mitten im Wald – ruhig, abgeschieden und perfekt zum Abschalten. Wir haben uns unglaublich gut betreut gefühlt; Markus und Günter haben sich ständig erkundigt, ob alles passt und ob wir noch etwas brauchen. Wir hatten einen super erholsamen Urlaub und können die Zirmes Waldrast uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Ein ganz besonderer Ort! We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Sinnes Waldrast near Tarrenz in Austria. Markus and Günter are truly exceptional hosts – warm, attentive, and deeply passionate about what they do. You immediately feel that everything is run with care and dedication. They personally prepare both breakfast and dinner, and the food is outstanding. It feels homemade and authentic, yet refined and beautifully presented. The atmosphere is cozy, stylish, and very welcoming. The hut is newly and tastefully renovated and located in the middle of the forest – peaceful, secluded, and perfect for disconnecting. Markus and Günter constantly made sure we felt comfortable and well looked after. We had an incredibly relaxing holiday and can wholeheartedly recommend Zirmes Waldrast. A truly special place! De vriendelijke gastheer Gunter met zijn zoon Marcus. Ze staan altijd voor je klaar. En het uitzicht. Prachtig.

Autentisk med gæstfrie værter

Familiedrevet hotel, som virkelig kan mærkes. Værterne har fokus på, at vi fik en super god oplevelse, de dage vi tilbragte hos Sinnes Waldrast. Vi fik virkelig god vejledning om vandreterrænnet, og fandt dermed en tur, som passede os perfekt. Stedet var meget autentisk og lå i meget rolige og smukke omgivelser. Det var nemt for os at komme dertil. Fantastisk mad. Især pasteretten med kantareller fra skoven kan anbefales. På alle måder en fantastisk oplevelse.

J’ai passé 5 nuits inoubliables au Sinnes Waldrast à Tarrenz et je ne peux que recommander cet endroit ! L’appartement était très spacieux, impeccablement propre et parfaitement équipé – rien ne manquait. Le petit déjeuner était varié et de qualité, avec des produits frais et locaux. Le soir, nous avons eu l’occasion de goûter à la cuisine maison, absolument délicieuse – un vrai plaisir chaque jour. La vue depuis l’établissement est spectaculaire, un vrai havre de paix au cœur de la nature. Mention spéciale à Markus et ses parents, des hôtes chaleureux, serviables et toujours disponibles, qui font tout pour que le séjour soit parfait. Un grand merci pour cette belle expérience, je reviendrai sans hésiter !

Eine echte Oase!

Die tolle Aussicht, die ich von dort aus auf die Natur hatte, war unglaublich! Das Familienbetrieb ist so unglaublich freundlich. Markus und seine Eltern sind mit Herz und Seele für jeden Gast da. Ich habe mich sehr wohl dort gefühlt und komme gerne wieder hin!
