The property is lovely, clean and comfortable. If you like a firm bed, it’s for you.

If you are at all infirm, you may struggle with the stairs, as you near the bottom steps they don’t have much depth to them. The loo is downstairs, if you need to go in the night, tread carefully.

No towels. Uncomfortable stay

The house was clean and the beds were comfortable

On arrival we found that there were no towels which was a massive inconvenience as we were travelling from abroad with children and checked in late. In addition, the location of the property was not close to shopping facilities. Another thing that we was a concern was the staircases leading to the bedrooms. The steep and narrow steps and the lack of banister was a big concern especially with young children.The stairs were a safety concern especially at night time as the only toilet is located on the ground floor at the entrance. On one occasion my 5yrs old daughter slid down the last few remaining steps, luckily she landed ok otherwise she could have seriously hurt herself.

Good value for money?

The house has been recently renovated and redecorated. There is a nice living-room and kitchen with all necessary supplies.

The bedrooms, the toilet and the bathroom are on three different floors. On the groundfloor, there is a toilet, on an intermediate floor the bathroom without a toilet and on the first floor the bedrooms.The stairs up to the bedrooms are such narrow and steep that I wouldn‘t advise staying there with small children or old or physically disabled people. Above all, you cannot tell this from the pictures on the website of booking.com. The bedrooms are sparsely furnished, the lamps not bright enough for reading. NO TOWELS !!! Relatively pricey.

-rooms under the roof were very warm at night -extra coffee pads would have been welcome -no towels provided -no hand soap -no dishwasher pads

Family Drive-through

The livingroom and bathroom are big and open for a family of 4. The kitchensupplies were good, with the microwave/oven. The beds were large enough and parking space at the front door.

The stairs to the bedrooms is quite narrow which can be difficult if you are less flexable.

Ruim mooi huisje, proper en helemaal in orde. Leuk speelgoed voor de kinderen, zowel binnen als buiten. Gezellig terras met uitzicht over de velden.

Gezellige cosy trip op een rustige locatie

We hebben een heel fijn verblijf gehad. Huisje voelde heel knus en gezellig aan, als ook het terras en de tuin hebben we met het mooie weer echt van genoten. Grote badkamer was ook heel fijn. Ook heel vlotte communicatie, we hebben er echt van genoten!

De trap was iets gevaarlijker in de nacht als je naar beneden moest gaan voor de wc. En de meubels buiten waren wel heel vuil/stoffig, dus deze hebben we zelf wat afgekuisd.

Aangenaam verblijf en ideale locatie om samen te genieten.

Gezellig ruim huisje met ideale ligging om de omgeving en Diksmuide te ontdekken. Het was een weekend met het gezin en wat was het samen genieten. Fietsen, uitstappen en cultuur opsnuiven.
